Kenya Election 2007: Outcomes

1st January, 2008

RE:AN OPEN NEW YEAR LETTER TO ALL AFRICANS AND PEOPLE OF GOODWILL

FELLOW EAST AFRICANS,

Our country THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA has been hijacked by the opponents of democracy namely Hon. Mwai Kibaki and the former Minister of Internal (in)Security Mr. John Michuki together with their club of rich Kikuyu mafia. It is very sad how Kenya has degenerated into chaos because of these two men together with some unpatriotic officials of the Electoral Commission of Kenya who refused to even look at evidence pointing to a massively rigged election.

As people lit fireworks and drank warm champagne last midnight to usher in the New Year, gunshots and the flow of warm blood of hundreds of peace-loving Kenyans denied the country such global happiness that they had planned to celebrate with a new president of their choice, Hon. Rail Odinga. Hon. Kibaki, Mr. Michuki and their friends working from/in State House, Nairobi today should know that all nefarious men of their type, such as Mobutu Sese Seko and Charles Taylor will one day face their days in court whether alive or dead. African dictatorships have never lasted forever, they have always come tumbling down at some point and Kenyans of our generation and beyond will never forgive them for giving the ongoing shoot-to-kill orders to the special security forces of the paramilitary General Service Unit(GSU) against their fellow countrymen in Kisumu. This is something that even retired President Daneil Arap Moi and the late Jomo Kenyatta who ruled for longer terms and wielded more power, never did.

Fellow African men and women of goodwill, join us in spreading the news of how the unpopular regime in Nairobi today openly took advantage of Hon. Raila Odinga's peaceful politics, to swear in a man who lost hands down in Kenya's just concluded historic elections. Announce to all and sundry how this regime, faced with a genocide/ethnic cleansing on their hands at the moment, has even had the immoral audacity of asking Raila to be a good statesman and conceed defeat to Kibaki! What nonsense is this? How absurd can the power-hungry be? Why really should Raila, the legitimately elected president, Raila the people's choice in an election with the highest turn-out ever seen in these parts of Africa, accept this slap in the face to the democracy that he and others have built on blood, imprisonment and tears? Why?

Hon. Kibaki, why hasnt any world, African or even East African leader sent you a message of congratulation even after two days since you "won" the elections?

At the dawn of this new year, 2008, the wishes of the majority of the different tribes of Kenya to be led by Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga until 2012 cannot be respected by a few old men whose only fear is that a Raila presidency will audit their dubiously acquired wealth and bring them to books. If we give in to this "civilian coup" as Raila calls it, and let the new Kibaki regime eventually get their way, then what will be the point for future elections?

We might just as well accept the fact that Kenya awill now resurrecting the dictatorship of yesteryears in Africa even as the continent forges forward into the new millenium. In this context, we should find bo difference between Kibaki and the dictators of the past of the Great Lake region especially Idi Amin, Kamuzu Banda, Said Barre, Mobutu Sese Seko etc. Kibaki and his cronies are extremely evil and that is why Raila should not give up. If Raila gives up, Kenya will go down the drain because of the power hungry few. There may be no other Raila to leas us against these forces of evil in the future. Let us all rally behind him, for the sake of Kenya and other African democracies.

Let the hastily sworn-in Hon. Kibaki be the statesman not Raila because Raila already is a popular statesman in the eyes of Kenyans and the world. Let Hon. Kibaki just step down and accept the honest verdict of the Kenyan voters that they do not want his leadership. He does not have the mandate to rule. He knows deep in his heart that he is not the true heir to the Kenyan throne in the legal sense especially as evidence continues to come up on how his Party of National Unity (PNU) and some officials of the Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK) rigged the December, 2007 elections. In the face of the laws of the Republic of Kenya, he is no different than the looters in the streets. He has looted the presidency from Kenyans by imposing himself even when Kenyans have rejected him, his vice president, 90% of his former cabinet ministers and his own political organization, the Party of National Unity (PNU). Just as the looters on the streets of Kenyan cities should respect the law of the land, so should the Kibaki regime. We are all equal before the eye of the law.

Fellow African men and women of good will, as we in the new deathstricken Kenya of Kibaki struggle on towards our political freedom by adopting Ukrainian techniques of compelling Kibaki to resign, join us and the international community in denying recognition to the false government in Nairobi today. Spread word to as many people as you can that the duely elected president of Kenya Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga has been blocked from office by Hon. Emilio Mwai Kibaki and his tiny group of business friends from his home province. I finish my plea to you all by supporting the views of the Chief European Union Election Observer in the December 2007 Kenyan presidential elections, Alexander Graf Lambsdorff who said the tallying process "lacked credibility" and reported very openly that Kenya's presidential poll was "flawed" and "fell short of international standards".

EU casts doubts over Kenyan poll

Kenya's presidential poll was "flawed" and "fell short of international standards", EU election monitors have said in an interim report on the poll.
Chief European Union monitor Alexander Graf Lambsdorff said the tallying process "lacked credibility".

A Kenyan election commissioner has also expressed unease at the result.

Thousands of police and soldiers have been deployed across the country to try to stop the violence which followed the re-election of President Mwai Kibaki.

Kenyan Tanzania, do not blame ECK chairman, i am sure he was forced to do so. You could see it from his eyes and from his heart that he was telling what he did not believe in, what he was sure is not the truth.
I can see all the sings that Kibaki will step down in shame, no one on Kenya wants Kenya to be like Zimbabwe, no one ion west wants to see another Zimbabwe in Africa, all signs are there, poor Kibaki who is forced by his friends to accept wizi wa kura will stepdown, pressure from outside has slowly start to mount, it is just a matter of time, he will go.

We are supporting you and the people of Kenya during this sad moment. We will spread the word and let the "Freedom ring" from Mountains and hills of Kenya to Harare-Zimbabwe,to Malabo in Equatorial Guinnea,to Kampala Uganda,to Eastern Congo,to Kigali Rwanda and Darful Sudan!!

Katika uchaguzi huu wa kusikitisha nimejifunza mambo makuu manne;
1. Kupiga kura ni jambo moja
2. Kuhesabu kura ni jambo la pili
3. Kujumlisha kura (Tallying) ni jambo la tatu
4. Kutoa matokeo.

Mhe Bongolander: the fact that he bowed to pressure is the very reason for him to bear the blame. He should have stood by the truth. He is now the sole person responsible and accountable for the ongoing trouble in Kenya for having given presidency to an illetigimate person.

You might be right Kitila but remember that this man went away for a while, and when he came back he changed his tone and became a lame duck. The questions is what happened to him, what did they talk to him, for sure there was immense pressure on him from those who wanted Kibaki to win, i believe he was threatened in the strongest terms.
He sent a very clear signal that there was rigging going on, and he said very clearly that it was unacceptable, but he evetually bowed to pressure. Kweli anasehemu fulani ya lamawa, lakini najaribu kuvaa viatu vyake hapa huenda hata mimi vingenibana. Hata hivyo kazi aliyoifanya kuionesha Jumuiya ya kimataifa ukweli imetosha, it is up to the international community to take over from where he left. We are slowly starting to see that the international community is rasing a red flag....let us wait and see the developments! Mimi naona kama Kibaki envetually ataachia ngazi!

HON. KIBAKI PLEASE LET RAILA BE OUR PRESIDENT. WE DO NOT NEED YOU. TAFADHALI WEWE PUMZIKA TU UWACHIE RAILA ACHAPE KAZI.

1. Kibaki na Raila nadhani ni marafiki- wakutane waongee the way foward na mustakabali wa Kenya!

2. Kama sii woga- wa Kibaki if Katiba Mpya anguikubali - Raila angeweza kuwa Waziri Mkuu- may be haya ya leo yasingetokea!

3. Naskia foreign observers (Commonwealth, AU) wanapendekeza Independent Commitee to view the tallying of votes! Observaers wa EAC wako wapi????? Where is EAC?

4. Hivi JK au M7 they can not intervene and do something? What is the role of EAC ktk hali kama hii? Mimi nadhani by sasa M7 na JK wangekuwa wamekutana- na kuona kitu cha kusaidia as a way foward! Inasikitisha Brown PM UK ndo amewapikigia simu Raila na Kibaki- akishawishi wakutane na waongee!

JK yeye yuko Mapumziko- Hotel ya Kitalii Sopper Lodge- anakula maisha- kweli Tanzania tunaye raisi msanii!

HON. KIBAKI PLEASE LET RAILA BE OUR PRESIDENT. WE DO NOT NEED YOU. TAFADHALI WEWE PUMZIKA TU UWACHIE RAILA ACHAPE KAZI.

KT,

Nimesikia ODM wana
viti 100 na ukijumlisha vyama vingine inaonyesha kuna viti vingine bado hawajatangaza.
