Vichwa 2nd hand, engine mpya. Asante mkuu kwa habari hii njema...ukitaka kupanda commuter train karibu NAIROBI.

Sheria ya manunuzi Tanzania hairuhusu serikali kununua vitu chakavu, hata kama ni kijiko cha kukorogea chai, Kenya hata vifaa vya kijeshi, tena vyenye kuruka angani huwa wananunua chakavu, katika hivi vichwa 11, ni vichwa vinne tu ndio vinavyofanya kazi, vingine vyote vinahitaji kukarabatiwa, hivi kwanini wasinunue vipya hata kutoka China?.

Hahahaha, unafanya kosa kubwa kuruhusu technical team kupanga bei, technical team inafaa katika mambo ya kiufundi, kukushauri uimara na ubora wa matumizi wa hicho kifaa, kwenye bei ni kukadiria tu, wakiahidiwa 10%, lazima watakupiga tu.

Vipo vitu kama majengo yanaweza kufanyiwa evaluation kitaalamu na bei ikajulikana kwa uhakika zaidi, sio rahisi katika movable items. Lakini kwanini Kenya wanapenda sana kununua vitu chakavu wakati wanajisifia kuwa na pesa?, ninahisi rushwa ndio sababu kubwa.

I OK everything about this project except am not sure if they are paying or overpaying. 25yrs of age for a typical ptrain is still a young age! Trains can live up to 100 yrs.
 
Joto la jiwe i told you to stop relying on fake news,the article you attached was copy pasted from yesterday sunday nation paper,they too(sunday nation) relied on rumours,they always have an anonymous source providing dirty details of underhand dealings,wow,very 'invetigative',to be begin with,the nairobi commuter rail is being funded by the world bank,a very sensitive and beuaraucratic institution,they don't just release funds just because you have plans to execute,they walk with you on every step of the way,from feasibility studies to procurement,but seriously, do you expect them to sit pretty as government procures junk DMUs,see,this people have very high ethical standards,they fund projects in the interest of the public,FYI world bank was to fund the nairobi double decker road from jkia all the way to westlands way back in 2012 but the contractor(straberg) choosen by GoK was shady,world bank threatened to pull out and we had to look for another contractor,thats how serious they are,you see,this bretton wood institutes are not like the chinese,you can't bribe them,spain is a western european country and a member of the EU,they too have high ethical standards,to see some of their commuter trains in use around the world,just google costa rica commuter trains and see for yourself,i say hold your horses and wait,then talk later when you see the real trains,not imaginery old DMUs.

Joto la jiwe am having problems uploading links,something is wrong with my attache files button,as i work on it,you can just google the deal costa rica had with spain to deliver second hand DMUs for san jose commuter rail,that will give you a rough idea of what they will deliver to us,it won't bite to google,i suggest you take a look.
