You can only tax money that exists. For you to collect double what KRA collects, you would need to merge your LDC economy with Rwanda, Uganda and Mozambique. And then double the tax rates.

The income taxes in Kenya and Tanzania are currently both 30%.
Almost everything else is taxed identically. Even the petrol and diesel prices differ by a few shillings.

You simply have no room to wiggle. You are a very poor country, and the government cannot invent new money from taxation.

Key metric Gross National Income(GNI) Is taxed as much as 3 times what is taxed in Tanzania. To make matters worse, GDP(PPP) is higher than kenya meaning the cost of living is cheaper and inflation is lower

There are different levies and charges in every country. But for you to say that when you buy a product in Kenya, you will pay triple of what you would have paid in Tanzania, you have to give us examples.

I have not said that what you pay in Tz is 3 times less what is paid in kenya,
Tax am talking about is in agregate. A lower GNI (kenya) yeilds ksh 1.5 trn while a higher Gross National Income(Tz) yeilds ksh 600bn.
