Tetesi: Kenya Shilling over valued by 17.5% - IMF says

What about a computer, petroleum, telephones, machinery. You also import very few compared to Kenya.
Anything you import affects your economyπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Moja ya sababu ya TZ kutumia electric railway nikuwa hawakutaka import ya petrolium. That means you are working on the effort for other countries and creating jobs for them.(those producing petrol) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ That means you need more foreign currency like a dollar or pound.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Do you know why a Dollar is called a petrol bill?? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚When you import a car from Japan you make revenue and secure jobs for Japanese. Go back to school kid. Soma kitu inaitwa balance of tradeπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Big fool. Is it that Tanzania doesn't have banks to lend you money?
The fact is even your banks are poor. Your top bank in terms of revenue and profit wouldn't be ranked top 10 in Kenya.

Everything about your economy is LDC.
Stick to what is been discussed, stop running around like headless chicken.

Ati you don't import unnecessary goods. That's the lamest excuse you can give.
Gari kwako ni unncessary? Computer ni unnecessary?
Rununu? Petroleum? Machinery?

Hizi zote mko nyuma ya Kenya na mbali. Just proving you don't have the purchasing power.

Alafu, umeitisha number of commercial vehicles. Ndio hii data ya 2016.

Kenya Delivery Trucks - $278 m
Tanzania Delivery Trucks - $141 m

Kenya Tractors - $114 m
Tanzania Tractors - $114 m

KE Specialized vehicles - $34 m
TZ Specialized vehicles - $19.8 m

KE Buses - $17.4 m (We manufacture most of our buses)
TZ Buses - $62.9 m (Some of your buses are imported from Kenya)

It's not ideal but it's inevitable. Most countries in the world import more than they export.
Even USA, UK and France.
Ujinga ni pale mnapojilinganisha na UK,USA and France. If African countries we real want to develop we need to compare our self with BRICK's countries or Vietnam and Singapore. Hizo nyingine ni upuhuzi kwa sasa. You cant make an extra dollar in Europe but China and India were the market is growing.

Developing countries always import raw materials to increase value and re-export them. Not arleady finished productsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Stick to what is been discussed, stop running around like headless chicken.

What has been discussed is that Tanzania is too poor to buy cars, basic household electronics, phones etc.

You have like 10 million more people than Kenya, yet we import more cars, microwaves, TVs, phones, fridges etc. than you.

There can only be two explanations to this.

1. You manufacture those items and hence no need to import them.
2. You cannot afford.

Boss Currecy is over valued by 17.5% and it means directly that GDP and Debt are Equally over valued and under valued by the same ratio respectively..Gosh I thought you are abit more brighter than your fellow meme vomiting trolls..Well you are just the same.

Source if this information. You don't just throw numbers without source. Even your own numbers are not supporting you.

BTW, there is no records in our customs indicate we import buses from Kenya, I don't think any reasonable business person will spend their hard earn cash for a substandard.

So what are you saying?
You think I don't know a country should strive to export more than they import?
Stop hiding your shame in basic economics.

Lakini the fact remains, the richer a country is, the more they import. Their citizens have a higher spending power.

Your hekaya can only make sense if you choose not to import, because you are producing them internally. Lakini hii yenu ni outright poverty.

We always discourage imports in Tanzania. Furniture and luxury cars in TZ are taxed high. Same reason we dont want import of milk and chicken from Kenya to Tanzania. We want to produce what we use and not the vice versa.
The discovery of Oil in UG itakuwa mkombozi mkubwa kwenye uchumi wa TZ since we gonner use less foreign currency to import petrol. Kid just go back to schoolπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Enda uwaulize. Ndio hawa hapa.

US trade deficit ya almost $1 Trillion. Hio kwako ni kubwa ama ndogo?

Jamaa anajifia importsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Hadi wakenya wenzake wanamshangaaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ He does not how imports affect the country once the value has not been added.

Hajawahi elewa kwa nini US anapigana Petrol iwe traded in terms of dollars.. He doesnt know why a dollar is termed as a Petrol billπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Huyu jamaa zero kabisaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Stop with the wishful thinking. Very few luxury cars are imported in Kenya. 99.99% ya hizo gari ni your regular car.
Alafu, Kenyan cars are more expensive because we have a 7 year rule. You can't import cars older than 7 years.
Meaning we're so rich, that we buy more cars, more expensively than you.

Hizo vitu zote unataja, sijui furniture, milk, chicken. They make up less than 1% of imports in both countries.

Main imports ni cars, petroleum, medicine, Telephones and IT products, and other industrial raw materials like rubber, ethylene.
Ndio hii yenu Tanzania.

And having three ports ships docking all day long, you think that they coming empty? Men what joke

Kuna kitu kinaitwa balance of trade. Show me that balance from Kunya land and compare it with TZ. Spending has never been determined by imports. Show where you got that??πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
We are busy here trying to school you and you think your so smart.

Wewe endelea kujipea moyo. Gdp ya Tz is so much closer to yours, we're closing the gap, wait results za imf.

Sawa mkuu.
Tukiendelea kungoja results za IMF za 2018, ndizo hizi za miaka ya awali.

Kenya GDP 2010 - $40 B
Tanzania GDP 2010 - $31 B
Gap - $9 B

Kenya GDP 2013 - $55 B
Tanzania GDP 2013 - $44 B
Gap - $11 B

Kenya GDP 2017 - $75 B
Tanzania GDP 2017 - $52 B
Gap - $23 B

Nadhani si lazima uwe rocket scientist kuelewa gap inaendelea vipi.

Simple logic.
GDP per capita. The average income of a person in a particular country.

Kenya - $1507
Tanzania - $936

Hekaya mingi za nini?
Kenyans have more money to spend. That's why we buy more gadgets, more electronics, more cars etc. than you.

That's why the last data I could find, I guess 2015, Kenyans imported 100,000 cars. While Tanzanians imported 55,000 cars.

Hio balance of trade Supremo anamwambia ndio tunaita bull crap.
The only thing you are balancing is poverty.
