Which means, Tanzanians have a higher purchasing power than Kenya when an internationally agreed basket of goods and services are used as a basis.
This is the most effective way of comparing Gross Domestic Product of countries.

US GDP per capita PPP is 57,000$ while Tanzania's is a bit over 3,000$.
