There are over 10000 hass Avocado farmers in Muranga county alone...
hata Nyeri,Embu,Meru ,Kiambu,Kirinyaga counties sijafika...
Leta Takwimu za Serikali ya Tanzania.. Nilete takwimu za Kenya Govt..
The numbers don't lie... the avocados produced in Tanzania are insignificant...otherwise they would be counted as exports to Kenya...

Kenya exports only 10% of the avocados produced,, sasa unataka kusema tunawacha avocado 90% tunakuja kutafuta 10% Tanzania????

ha ha ha ...let me tell you about international trade...
1.you may lie about how much you are exporting but the nations where you send your goods esp North America,Europe , South East Asia and middle east keep very diligent records..
In those countries Exporting farm products is very strict, they have to keep a record of everything to prevent diseases...
So when the records from the international organisation say Tanzania is not a top exporter...kuna data ....hii data ninayokupatia hata si ya Kenya Govt ... ni ya international organizations...
2. Exporters in Kenya like Olivado , Kakuzi and others have to inspect farms where the avocados are grown...European Union has very strict rules regarding products sold to their people..
They come to the farm , inspect and sign contracts...in our area they are even giving us seedlings..
These international exporters cannot come build huge factories In the Kenyan interior and then start getting avocadoes from TZ , it does not make sense for them...
Hata wao wanaingia mikoani kutembelea wakulima..
Kwa hivyo huyo jamaa anasema eti wanunuzi wanakuja Nairobi halafu tunawatafutia Avocado Tanzania ni uongo..
Hiyo ni kuonyesha hata hajui hio soko inavyoendeshwa....
Exporters wako Kenya... hao ndio wanawapa wakulima contracts za kukuza na kuwauzia....
Kwanza hii kampuni inayoitwa Olivado ina factory kubwa huko Muranga, walikuwa wameanza kazi yao Nairobi, halafu wakahama na kujenga huko Muranga... si wangekuja tu Tanzania????
