Fuatilia nilikuwa naongea nini na Mkikuyu, we talk about were is Germany engineering today. Soma kidogo bana sijakosea to add that article.

Lol.....you're asking me to read stuff from somebody I've blocked? I'm sorry the said forumers hogwash no longer appear on my feed and I don't have time to read things by illiterate people who believe they're professors. Let's keep it me and you.

Ona Engineer Boya, he cant get enough of my content! he/she is still suffering Female Homonal dysfunction. Jibu hoja wacha Mapovu

Haha, unahagaika sana, that land rover picha imeweka hapo is already been discontinued, ask me why, is because of European safety laws. Umeona mwenyewe chuma every everywhere.

Mimi nimekuambia Mobius one (the first car they ever made was of poor quality and law in all safety regulations). .View attachment 758935View attachment 758936

Sija decide to focus on bamper alone niko kwenye all sides when it comes to public safety. Mobius car came from the ideas been thrown to the wall an see which one sticks, pretty much like Land Rover story. 2018 you don't have to play with human lives like it was 1890 when aspirin was invented. Ndio maana ya regulations and standards, Mimi nimekunja nairobi many times sijaona Mobius in the city center been driven around. That tells you who ones this cars and were are they located, farms.

Mwanzi checkout the Mercedes-Maybach G-650 Landaulet which is the safest, most comfortable and most expensive commercially produced SUV in the world. I told you the safety of a car cannot be judged by outward appearance.

Truely a fake engineer. Who said anybody is Judging from outward apperance? Mobius has not passed any ETSC or NHTSA's tests. Netheir have they submited any applications

Car manufacturing improves with time. Of course the first Mobius can't be the best, I posted you a photo of the current Mobius and you're ignoring it showing me that of the previous. That's enough evidence that Mobius is improving with time. The 22018 model might look like the 2016 defender model but remember the Defender is a car from a well developed car industry. If we were to go with your arguments, the India should completely stop manufacturing those Tatas and mahindras and focus on agriculture - such retrogression thinking.

But hata huko India and elsewhere, they've to comply with all aspects of safety standards. India walikuwa na their national car called Ambassador. (Spot the difference ...clue bumper).

One thing I'll agree with you is time, with time more can be improved. But my main argument was our market is not mature enough for each and everyone of us buy a brand new car. Yes there cars been bought but what cars are those, more are second hand used Japanese cars. Why is that our purchase power, our bank interest, our culture or waiting bargain is one of the few reasons. Someone brought up the case of Mobius but the them their struggling have a competitive product and on "African budget". At the moment you can buy up two second hand japanese cars at same price you would pay to buy ones Mobius car.

Nairobi walker hebu pitia specifications list ya hiyo Mercedes na Mobious compare between the two. Na ni makosa kusema eti naangalia what on the outside nilikwabia Mobious lucks power steering, windows, airbag not sure if it has ABS. All those and more are safety issues and industry standard.

Dude, Really?....you've been focusing on the bumper all through - I told you on my first response there's more to a car's safety than the bumper you keep talking about and you maintained Mobius' bumper makes it an unsafe vehicle sahii unabadilisha Tena? I in fact mentioned the airbags that you're now quoting and steering (control) which you responded by claiming I lack knowledge on car safety. Sasa if I lack knowledge why are you using my knowledge now? Kwe hii Dunia imejaa wehu.😀😀

Your luck of knowledge on car safety inaniogopesha, run over at 30mph on Mobious one with steel bumper utakuta tu ukilinganisha corrrola with soft bumper at same speed. Hivi sio rocket science, car safety has move on from likes of Mobius one or WWII US army jeep. Go and read about new VW camper van and why did couldn't keep old looks of original camper van.

Wachina na Wajapan they started with poor quality cars but in 1940's 50's 60's not in 2018. Leo hii they can't even imagine producing something which will be a killing machines. Waafrika mnakazi all this so that you can kangaroo jump into the car world. There more to learn Kabla haujafika huko.

Actually the main issue is not safety but market. As I sad said and as you pointed out the market for brand new cars is less than 5% and mostly with Government/Parastatals. Unless mobius can have a car with safety and reliability of Japanese secondhands to attract a market beyong gvt, it can only depend on government sales contracts and subsidies which is a waste of taxpayer money given that Toyota Kenya assembles new cars with far much better specifications and safety with no Particular Gvt support.

No, it was you that pay more station on that one aspect of car safety, Mimi nimeelezea zaidi kama kwanini kitu kama bumper is important when it comes to public safety. Nikeongele mengi zaidi pamoja na ABS, air bag, fog lights power steering etc. Ukiona kitu kimewekwa kwenye gari the designers wanafikiria what can that thing do to improve safety and performance of the car Kabla ya kufikiria kinaonekana vizuri au la. Company like Mobious they still have a lot to do before they think to sale those units beyond Kenyan borders.

Wewe unabobojaboboja tu maneno mradi uishie kusema Mobius will fail.

There is no market for new unsafe, unreliable cars even by big spenders like government.Unless Gvt spends precious taxpayer money on Mobius, It will Fail..You can take that to the bank any bank including murata farmers sacco

Time as change you can't sale anything which is not an international standard.

Mobius is a new car. It can't have the standards of Mercedes Benz which were the first company to manufacture cars. Even Japanese cars can't compare to Mercedes but Japanese manufacturers make more profit than Mercedes. Tata still makes non-power steered vehicles (Manual steering) but it makes more profit than Mercedes. Not all vehicles can have the same safety standards and not all countries have the same safety standards either - remember most of the vehicles you buy in Tanzania are actually vehicles that have been rendered unroad worthy in Europe and Japan. Read about these things my friend. Mobius' target market is not Germany yet (though it will reach there sometime). The safety standards of Mobius are very much in line with safety standards of African countries including Tanzania. You need to read and understand these things. Kenya is taking baby steps in vehicle manufacturing while you're there hating - soon the baby will learn to walk and before you know it, will be competing in the Olympics while you're there still importing second hand cars that have been rendered unroad worthy in Japan.😎😎😎

Yes, marker is important but I'll emphasize on product too. No one what to sit in the car where you know you'll end up dying, no matter how cheap of bargain the product maybe. Sijuwi kama unakumbuka story ya Toyota Prius in US the whole family 2 generations perish because of faulty accelerator get stuck to full 100%. Their sales in us plummeted before it pick up again after a lot of soul searching. A Company like mobious with small capital they can loose everything with small mistake. But yes when you sortout all the issues with the product market comes next.

Kenya is Not China or india where the local population is huge enough market for indigenous car makers to tap on. Again, kenya is not protectionist like china, the gvt cannot impose tax on new imported cars to preserve the market for mobius.
But its good to dream, makes good news for newspapers and blind patriots can have something to wank with😀

Wrong, Japan have policies to maintain their car industry, one of those policies is to make any car which is more that 3years old expensive to keep, which includes higher insurance premiums and huge garage bills. All that to drive people to dump their old card to new one's so that to protect jobs on car industry and also earn foreign currency. Before those used cars are shipped abroad, they reconditioned them to bring them back to its heydays. This means change all safety futures replace them with new one's I will challenge you to name any Tata car of 2016-17 or 18 which was build without power steering.

You're missing the point. The point is, different countries have different standards for their vehicles. Many vehicles that would be considered unroadworthy in Germany are very good vehicles in Tanzania for instance. The Mobius car you're forcing your self to dismiss with false allegations like it lacking power steering passes all safety standards for East Africa.

Tata Indica and Tata nano are manual steered.

Why don't you show me a Mobius car build in 2017-18 without power steering first?

Are those not road worthy Germany car not good enough for Kenya? Wewe ndio hujuwi, in EAC you can't import any car without road worthiness certificate that by law.

Going to your topic that every country has its own safety standards, let me ask you this what I'll be the difference of safety standards in Kenya Tanzania and country like UK Germany or Japan. Are the cars in Kenya allowed on the road without seat belts fitted, are fog light. What about windshield, is any one in Kenya allowed to drive around with broken windshield? Nisaidie kuelwa if it will be OK kwa mtu kuendesha Mobious on very cold and foggy morning in Meru with no fog lights. Aje agongane na truck or bus in front of him. Ukiniambia speed limit yes kila nchi ina yake, type of tires yes, kila mtu ana yake, but there things like doors, braking system, lights, seat belt hivyo standard ni moja kote duniani. I'm not dismissing Mobius but they still have a lot to do. Nilisema mwanzo wa hii thread, inachukuwa mpaka $1 billion kudevelop a reasonable car, company like Mobius they're trying to build a "car for Africa" if you like to call it like that, but on tight budget. They forget that even in Africa we deserve better suspension, better braking system, less emission and good number of safety features.

I said safety standards vary with countries, you decide to dictate those safety standards for me.
Did I say you can drive in Kenya without seat belts? No. You made that yourself. Let me give you a good example in the whole of Europe, America and Canada, all vehicles must have airbags and not just airbags but well tested airbags. Meanwhile in your country, Tanzania, airbags are not mandatory and people import vehicles with no airbags (such as Tata 2518 for instance) or faulty airbags all the time. Now, a Tata 2518 would be unroad worthy in Germany but very road worthy in Tanzania. This means you can get a road worthiness certificate for that vehicle in Tanzania but you can't in Germany. You see now why I say safety standards vary?

Again you're making the assumption that the Mobius has no seat belts, no fog lights, poor suspension and poor braking system just like you made the assumption that it does not have power steering. It's pretty clear you have no facts when it comes to Mobius - you're just being driven by jealousy and cheap rivalry. Below is link to the specifications of the Mobius Car. Read it so that you don't have to make ignorant statements again.

Mbona imunakoroga mambo? wezako tunauza mkaa hapa and still managing to answer correctly. Inaoneka husomi ninachoandika. You mentioned every country have their own standards, I asked you what are those standards could be, no seat belt, no windshield, no fog light, no wiper? All those are standards to all countries around the world. Wewe umerukia na kusema eti mimi nasema Mobious haina hivyo vitu. Inaonekana your despite for that company to succeed, that is well and good, but even themselves they know they need to do more before the can be accepted on wider world.
