Hello JF members, Hopeful, many of you and other East African Political Commentators are closely investigating on who will be after the late Mutula Kalonzo to represent Makueni constituency as by-election announced by IEBC to be held on 22th July, 2013.
TNA had written to IEBC to object Kethi Kilonzo on the grounds that she is not vie to contest for the seat, saying she wasn't registered as a voter and she had not voted during the previous general election. Kethi has dismissed the claims saying she registered at NCC Hall at Karen.Wiper Democratic Movement, the party which Kethi Kalonzo vying termed the objection as a propaganda.
Kethi presented the voter card but her name did not appear neither in the voting station nor the voter book. She says the mistake previously aknowledged by IEBC.The IEBC Dispute Resolution Committee postponed hearing the case till tomorrow for both sides to present adequate data & evidence.
NEC-Tanzania, should learn from EIBC!
