I know some of them names off that list, but couldn't tell you any of their songs. Any of y'all young bloods can help this old head with some of the bars from them cats that impressed you? Coz honestly, I feel them new school dudes is trash.

Maybe you ain't give em a chance, not all rappers are wack, but it might be due to their type of music being a little different from the traditional Hip-Hop, and also because their music just feels rushed. Some of them dudes used to be way better when they was coming up, lakini labels zinawamilk sana, unakuta msanii anatoa three albums a year, it's hard to make a well thought out project. Most Hip Hop/Rap music these days is just fast food music, just gets pretty stale very quickly.

Yeah uko sahihi, Future alianza kusikika sana 2011. Kutoka vyanzo mbalimbali, Juice WRLD alianza kutumia lean, na xanax mwaka 2013. Kwa hiyo kuna uwezekano hapo 2009 alikuwa anatumia drugs za aina tofauti maana kule nchi za wenzetu wana drugs za aina nyingi na kuna nyingine ni designer drugs.

Exactly, mashabiki wengi wa muziki wa aina hii ni watoto watoto na teens, na vijana, most old folks can't relate to this type of music.

Also most of these rappers just biting each others' styles (flows, and everything else), so it becomes even harder to put them apart from one another.

It's safe to say Hip Hop has been pretty much dead for a while now. Though, there are rappers who still put effort to deliver solid projects.

Most def, it's the music industry that's after making money and not making music that's timeless. The music has become repetitive and formulaic. Thats why most labels will milk a few hits from a rapper, for a few years, then throw him away, and off they move to a new rapper they can get hits from.

What I like the most about old-school is most songs are still relevant to this day, and artist really took their time to make something different from their entourage. The nostalgia is strong in old music as well, the old music age like a fine wine.
