LAPSSET tracking

You can't commit such big amount of money from poor country like Kenya based on hopes without confirmed deal, you are hoping that South Sudan will settle soon, remember many of us had hope that Somali would settle soon after fall of Siad Barre, is that hope realized? if Kenya would commit big projects for Somalia what would happen?

About Ethiopia, if you have done basic courses on research methodology, you can understand when I mention"killer assumption", I can comfortably predict that Ethiopia shall never use Lamu port due to the following important reasons
1)Ethiopia has just finished building its SGR to Djibouti, Ethiopia needs to pay back Chinese loan with interest, therefore Ethiopia needs to make use of its railway by increasing volume of cargo transported by its railway, any attempt to use Lamu port will be suicidal to its economy
2)Ethiopia economy is not strong enough to build second railway line to connect with Lamu port, therefore the only connection with Lamu port is road, businessmen can't choose road if there is train
3)Ethiopia's Export Processing Zone(EPZ), lies along its SGR, therefore all goods and services shallbe transported by using SGR
This is a kenyan project for kenyans in the north. If it serves Sudan then that is an added advantage. Business people like convinience hizo zingine ni porojo

I hadn't noticed that this thread was started way back in 2013 August 4 by a certain frothing imbecile, 4 years later the LAPSSET project on schedule with it's first 3 berths ready and operational mid next year. Was just wondering what has HIS COUNTRY DONE IN THE PAST FOUR FUCKIN YEARS ?? Isiolo moyale highway complete,
