Liverpool FC (The Reds) | Special Thread

Duuh! Kweli hali yenu ngumu MTM! Yaani wewe ukipewa timu leo ndio utapanga hivyo? Maana yake unakaba kwanza na magoli kama yatatokea basi ni bahati nzuri....maana naona umeweka mabeki watano hapo! Na ukiongeza Masch kama kiungo mkabaji hata lile puto la Sunderland halifungi bao hapo! Mwaka wenu huu mkuu!

Yaani Toores, Yossi, Kuyt na Babbel wote hao hawatoshi? Glen is more attacking minded also if you have watched him

Have you ever though Agger angepangwa namba ngapi Arses au Manure? Holding mazee, thats where he is good at, quality breaks and passage

Duh... Kweli mpira kuujua vizuri kazi

we need players who come week n week day and day out with big performnce na sio kuwa leo safi kesho noma

Gademit!! You have nailed it bro.... Lucas may be good in Italy not England, but still in Masch you should expect more especially him being Argies captain, he needs to teah lucas and position himself where he sees the gap... he is the box to box man... unfortunately he wants Alonso style where there is no alonso...he wont even match with Gerro because he isnt flexible... that is the reason he was beched alot in Westham and its alsonso who bailed him out last seasons

Angalia hata madrid, alonso ni kama chewing gum!!! You will agree with me one day that even Masch hasnt lived up to expectations

Thanks Safari for copying and pasting

it is always good to provide a total picture;

  1. How much has he recouped?
  2. How much has he spent on salaries and benefits? remember players like Masch was being paid 30K until last summer while Shevy was being paid 130K per week.
  3. With that money how much has he won? remember there are teams with six trophy-less years simply by cost saving.
  4. remember in sports, its the titles/trophies that count and not the balance sheet
A good anaysis is always fair rather than one sided representation

`POOL CAN`T AFFORD TO SACK BENITEZ`
Rafael-Benitez-v-Lyon_2375327.jpg

Rafa Benitez's position at Liverpool appears safe for the moment, as Liverpool may not be able to afford to sack him.

Benitez signed a five-year contract in March, thought to be worth in the region of £4.5million a year, meaning it would cost close to £20million to remove the Spaniard.

And that is before clearing out of Benitez's extensive backroom staff is taken into account, which will add considerable cost to any change in management.

Benitez will be further heartened by words from Liverpool co-owner George Gillett.

"We have just entered into a long-term agreement with Rafa," he said, recalling the improved deal Benitez signed in March to keep him on Merseyside until 2014.

"Our family is extraordinarily pleased with him, we believe he is absolutely as good as there is in the business.

"The run of results disappoints everybody. Certainly, it disappoints the fans and it disappoints Rafa.

"I have seen his television interview and I know he is disappointed. We are all disappointed, but we are in this together."

However, when asked about potential transfer funds for the January window, Gillett refused to be drawn.

"I don't think that is something I am prepared to comment on at the moment," the American said.

ha ha ha sikucheki mkuu maanake issue yako imekuwa serious sasa. unaonaje maneno ya pennant haya?
BENITEZ TO BLAME FOR LIVERPOOL WOE, CLAIMS PENNANT
Reina doesn't criticise Rafa Benitez, but Jermaine Pennant does. In The Guardian, he is quoted as saying: "I don't see how a player can play at an average team and be great and go to Liverpool and be not as great. It should be a lot easier...It must be about how the manager relates to players, how the tactics are and how he restricts players."

IT'S RED ALERT AT ANFIELD
Tom Hicks and George Gillett will be in attendance on Sunday and fan group Spirit of Shankly will air their disapproval of the Americans by marching on the ground before the game. SoS spokesman Paul Gardner tells the Daily Mail: "There are two culprits [for the poor run of form] - Gillett and Hicks. They are the ones who put us into £245million worth of debt, promised us a stadium which has not been built, took money out of the club to pay for their own expenses. We want the owners out now."
