Kazi ipo then.

First duty ya a good/top GK, ni ku-mask shortcomings/lapses za his backline.

Kwa kipindi cha 90 mins, opponents lazima watajaribu kuja kwako, force mistakes, forces lapses, force mis-steps etc, and since football is all about shapes & dynamics (forms & systems), at some point, utajikuta kwenye trap, so when your defense gets caught-up, and collapses, your GK must be there to try his hardest to save/mask hizo lapses, and shape the defense again.

Kama, GK akiwa a-show up his mates lapses, what is his job? mpira siyo one dimensional, as good as Saliba & Gabriel are, their not immune to lapses, because wanacheza against professionals.

Umeongelea kuhusu lapses za kina Jesus, Ode etc, but unasahau kuwa lapses ni part of football, unaona ni kosa la kina Jesus, but unasahau kuwa, Luton walikuwa good at forcing lapses and penetrations, its football, siyo one sided sport.

So, what happens kama, on-field players, waki-fail ku-win balls/cover ball progression channels? job ya GK ni nini? show up for the ball, stay on your toe, cover your positions, be quick kwenye ku-make decisions.

Raya is not a good shot-stopper and its not an insult at all, and pia its fine.

Well, the last time we beat Luton at Kensington was more than 30 years ago....

Jokes aside. We know we haven't beaten you guys at Anfield in a while but luckily you guys are still in the Premier League so we'll keep getting opportunities to try to do just that.

It was LUTON.

You had your chance last season, and failed terribly.

This time, itakuwa ni top at X-mas decider, so itakuwa ni cracker.

I'm trying to understand your point regarding his shot-stopping ability. I'll begrudgingly accept it, though i recall that, statistically, Raya is one of the best shot-stoppers in the league.

We've conceded a couple of sloppy goals. For some of those, Raya couldn't have done much about after the first and second line of defence were breached. Our players must do better. Our coaching must get better. Raya should probably also ultimately get better.

Sometimes your takes on football gets way overboard, and it can be stressful.

Trent played a huge part kwenye our win against Fulham, and he deserves kila aina ya praise.

But that doesnt mean he wasnt responsible for Fulham first goal.

And it doesnt mean, the whole midfield wasnt bad (Szobo, Macca, Grav), failed to step up kwenye kila aina ya defensive actions.

Our attacking line, was poor (Diaz, Nunez & Salah).

I dont want to talk about Kelleher, because i expected it.

Then, again, mtu unae ona mzigo hapa, bila yeye kuwepo at the right place, right time, those 2 last goals (Endo & Trent), zisingetokea, not in the slightest.

Actually, it takes a good football mind to figure out this, and i believe you have been kwenye football world, a while enough, kuelewa team-effort kwenye mpira, and what the meaning of last attacking actions.

Give praise, panapohitajika.
Nunez nimeshamsifu mbona..

Hata angekuwa Allison angezuia vipi pale?

Liverpool are still waiting to discover the full extent of the injury sustained by Joel Matip during Sunday’s Premier League win over Fulham.

The centre-back had to be withdrawn in the 69th minute of the 4-3 victory at Anfield after suffering an issue that is ‘not good’.

Matip is definitely set for a spell on the sidelines, Jürgen Klopp confirmed at his pre-Sheffield United press conference.

Asked if he knows how long the No.32 is likely to be out for, Klopp said: “No, I don’t know exactly but it doesn’t look good, that’s something we can say.

“The scan is not done yet so we don’t know exactly, but it’s not great. From the first second it was clear, we spoke to him and said, ‘No, that’s not good.’

“But how long, I don’t know.”

Klopp also discussed the recoveries of Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota, who each remain out of action after injuries against Manchester City last month.

“He was running yesterday outside – on his birthday,” the boss said of Jota. “And everything goes in the right direction, but nobody told me he will be back in team training today. No, there is still some time.

“And with Ali the same. Obviously Ali is closer but not available for tomorrow definitely.”

Kiingereza kingi ,mpira mataputapu na ulanzi .
😄 😄 😄 mpira wanapiga mzuri tu, haswa kwenye ushambuliaji.
