You know its enough punishment for a child to get pregnant, the stigma that they have to deal with at school, the parents wrath .... The uncertainity of their future dreams..Their is no need to punish further... Some kids end up hanging themselves just bcoz they cant deal with the embarrassment, now they will add the presure of being chased out of school and possibly no future?
Am glad we have a progressive constitution that seeks to protect the rights of children and also the right to basic education regardless of age,gender, status,health,disability..
This new law seeks to place the responsibility to the school to protect the child incase of pregnancy... The state will also be forced to create daycare centers to take care of the children so that the teen can still attend school and be in abetter position to take care of the kids future ... The punishment of being pregnant while still at school is enough to discourage others from unprotected sex.
