Tanzanian troops, part of a 1,500-strong African Union force, are training for an operation to retake the rebel island of Anjouan.

Simulating beach landings on the small island of Moheli, Comoros, the Tanzanians inspired more laughter than awe as they clumsily got off their dinghies. Some dropped their rifles into the waves in the process.

Others simulating a defensive tactic gathered near a wall but it was an uphill task for many, who were clearly out of breath after a short sprint.

“Luckily there is no resistance on the beach,” a Comoros military official commented. “One strategically placed machinegun and they all would have been dead.”

Mkuu GT, from what i know--just a general understanding, ni kwamba Membe alikuwa akiongoza juhudi za upatanishi katika AU steering committee katika Peace and Security. Hii ni kwa sababu hatua ya mjadala haikuwa hatua ya ki utendaji kijeshi, bali ya wanasiasa wa nje--something which suits Membe better than Malima au Mwamunyange.

When it came to utendaji wa ki operesheni, imeamuliwa sasa kuwa CDF atakuwa msemaji mkuu wa updates za operesheni, (CFD Kasema jana) ambapo kama utakumbuka, Membe hajawa msemaji toka operesheni hii ianze.

amini usiamini, kuna difference inayoonyesha failure kubwa kwa recruits waliozaliwa miaka ya kuanzia 1976 na kuendelea katika mambo haya. wengine wanahusisha na kukosekana kwa JKT, katika ku mould fikra za vijana wetu, wengine wanahusisha na nguvu hasi za globalization...lakini hii kitu ipo, wana tofauti kubwa na wale wengine wa miaka ya nyuma.

Well, basically they have to be treated humanely. That picture doesnt show that at all. With this age of technology, thats why you see soldiers in Iraq falling in dodoo. Basically, google 'Prisoners of War and the Geneva Convention or treatment'. Its a long article.
Just thought I point that out, as I have read a few of your posts and in this part and you are totally blind to this.
