May the light of your love shine on me. I praise your glorious name and thank you for _____ _.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Ps 32:1-2, 5, 6, 7
R. (1a)
Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven.
Blessed is he whose fault is taken away,
whose sin is covered.
Blessed the man to whom the LORD imputes not guilt,
in whose spirit there is no guile.
R. Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you,
my guilt I covered not.
I said, "I confess my faults to the LORD,"
and you took away the guilt of my sin.
R. Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven.
For this shall every faithful man pray to you
in time of stress.
Though deep waters overflow,
they shall not reach him.
R. Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven.
You are my shelter; from distress you will preserve me;
with glad cries of freedom you will ring me round.
R. Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven.

Gn 3:1-8
Genesis 3:1
Now the snake was the most cunning of all the wild animals that the LORD God had made. He asked the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You shall not eat from any of the trees in the garden’?”
Genesis 3:2
The woman answered the snake: “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden;
Genesis 3:3
it is only about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden that God said, ‘You shall not eat it or even touch it, or else you will die.’”
Genesis 3:4
But the snake said to the woman: “You certainly will not die!
Genesis 3:5
God knows well that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, who know good and evil.”
Genesis 3:6
The woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eyes, and the tree was desirable for gaining wisdom. So she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Genesis 3:7
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.
Genesis 3:8
When they heard the sound of the LORD God walking about in the garden at the breezy time of the day, the man and his wife hid themselves from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
Gospel
Mk 7:31-37
Mark 7:31
Again he left the district of Tyre and went by way of Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, into the district of the Decapolis.
Mark 7:32
And people brought to him a deaf man who had a speech impediment and begged him to lay his hand on him.
Mark 7:33
He took him off by himself away from the crowd. He put his finger into the man’s ears and, spitting, touched his tongue;
Mark 7:34
then he looked up to heaven and groaned, and said to him, “Ephphatha!” (that is, “Be opened!”)
Mark 7:35
And [immediately] the man’s ears were opened, his speech impediment was removed, and he spoke plainly.
Mark 7:36
He ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more he ordered them not to, the more they proclaimed it.
Mark 7:37
They were exceedingly astonished and they said, “He has done all things well. He makes the deaf hear and [the] mute speak.”

Evening Prayer.

God, I pray for your contentment to fill my heart tonight.

I ask that you would help me to find satisfaction in the things that I have, and that I would be able to let go of any feelings of greed or envy.

I pray that I would be able to trust in your provision, and that I would be able to find joy and fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life.

I trust in your contentment and provision, and I pray that I would experience that contentment in a powerful way tonight.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

- Sasa tunajua wenye shida wanataka mtu si taasisi wala mfumo.

- Sasa tunajua kila suluhisho linazaa tatizo. Ukifuga mbwa mkali wa kulinda wezi, kuna siku atakuzuia wewe usiingie nyumbani kwako.

- Sasa tunajua hakuna bunge huru, hakuna mahakama huru, hakuna DPP huru, hakuna AG huru - ila kuna Chama huru.

Ps 90:2, 3-4abc, 5-6, 12-13
R. (1)
In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.
Before the mountains were begotten
and the earth and the world were brought forth,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
R. In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.
You turn man back to dust,
saying, "Return, O children of men."
For a thousand years in your sight
are as yesterday, now that it is past,
or as a watch of the night.
R. In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.
You make an end of them in their sleep;
the next morning they are like the changing grass,
Which at dawn springs up anew,
but by evening wilts and fades.
R. In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.
Teach us to number our days aright,
that we may gain wisdom of heart.
Return, O LORD! How long?
Have pity on your servants!
R. In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.
Alleluia
Mt 4:4b
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
One does not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.

Genesis 3:9
The LORD God then called to the man and asked him: Where are you?
Genesis 3:10
He answered, “I heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid.”
Genesis 3:11
Then God asked: Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat?
Genesis 3:12
The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—she gave me fruit from the tree, so I ate it.”
Genesis 3:13
The LORD God then asked the woman: What is this you have done? The woman answered, “The snake tricked me, so I ate it.”
Genesis 3:14
Then the LORD God said to the snake: Because you have done this, cursed are you among all the animals, tame or wild; On your belly you shall crawl, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.
Genesis 3:15
I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; They will strike at your head, while you strike at their heel.
Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said: I will intensify your toil in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Yet your urge shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.
Genesis 3:17
To the man he said: Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, You shall not eat from it, Cursed is the ground because of you! In toil you shall eat its yield all the days of your life.
Genesis 3:18
Thorns and thistles it shall bear for you, and you shall eat the grass of the field.
Genesis 3:19
By the sweat of your brow you shall eat bread, Until you return to the ground, from which you were taken; For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.

The man gave his wife the name “Eve,” because she was the mother of all the living.
Genesis 3:21
The LORD God made for the man and his wife garments of skin, with which he clothed them.
Genesis 3:22
Then the LORD God said: See! The man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil! Now, what if he also reaches out his hand to take fruit from the tree of life, and eats of it and lives forever?
Genesis 3:23
The LORD God therefore banished him from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he had been taken.
Genesis 3:24
He expelled the man, stationing the cherubim and the fiery revolving sword east of the garden of Eden, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Mk 8:1-10
Mark 8:1
In those days when there again was a great crowd without anything to eat, he summoned the disciples and said,

Mark 8:3
If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will collapse on the way, and some of them have come a great distance.”
Mark 8:4
His disciples answered him, “Where can anyone get enough bread to satisfy them here in this deserted place?”
Mark 8:5
Still he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” “Seven,” they replied.
Mark 8:6
He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then, taking the seven loaves he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute, and they distributed them to the crowd.

MMM, Martin Maranja Masese.

LOWASA: Mfupi wa Maisha na Mrefu wa Historia.

Edward Lowasa ameondoka.

- Spika Samwel Sitta
-Wabunge mitume
-Edward Lowasa akiwa Waziri Mkuu.

2. Alikuwa mtetezi asiyekuwa na mtetezi.
- Alikitetea chama chake, nacho kikamtelekeza.

Viongozi tujifunze kujali familia zetu. Mwisho wa madaraka, mzigo unabebwa na familia. Mambo ya “Pengo halitazibika” ni ulaghai mtu. Kufa uone tutakavyoliziba hata kabla ya mazishi!

UBINADAMU WA LOWASA

a. Aliwaamini watu kuliko alivyoaminiwa.

Though you hate discipline

Reading I
Gn 4:1-15, 25
Genesis 4:1
The man had intercourse with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, saying, “I have produced a male child with the help of the LORD.”
Genesis 4:2
Next she gave birth to his brother Abel. Abel became a herder of flocks, and Cain a tiller of the ground.
Genesis 4:3
In the course of time Cain brought an offering to the LORD from the fruit of the ground,
Genesis 4:4
while Abel, for his part, brought the fatty portion of the firstlings of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering,
Genesis 4:5
but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry and dejected.
Genesis 4:6
Then the LORD said to Cain: Why are you angry? Why are you dejected?
Genesis 4:7
If you act rightly, you will be accepted; but if not, sin lies in wait at the door: its urge is for you, yet you can rule over it.
Genesis 4:8
Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let us go out in the field.” When they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
Genesis 4:9
Then the LORD asked Cain, Where is your brother Abel? He answered, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
Genesis 4:10
God then said: What have you done? Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground!
Genesis 4:11
Now you are banned from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
Genesis 4:12
If you till the ground, it shall no longer give you its produce. You shall become a constant wanderer on the earth.
Genesis 4:13
Cain said to the LORD: “My punishment is too great to bear.
Genesis 4:14
Look, you have now banished me from the ground. I must avoid you and be a constant wanderer on the earth. Anyone may kill me at sight.”
Genesis 4:15
Not so! the LORD said to him. If anyone kills Cain, Cain shall be avenged seven times. So the LORD put a mark on Cain, so that no one would kill him at sight.
Genesis 4:25
Adam again had intercourse with his wife, and she gave birth to a son whom she called Seth. “God has granted me another offspring in place of Abel,” she said, “because Cain killed him.”

Mk 8:11-13
Mark 8:11
The Pharisees came forward and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign from heaven to test him.
Mark 8:12

Mark 8:13
Then he left them, got into the boat again, and went off to the other shore.
