At 4566m mt Meru is taller than Mt Elgon's Wagaigai peak at 4321m in Uganda mind u only the shorter Koitobos peak at 4222m is in Kenya! As 3/4 of Mt Elgon falls in Uganda u can't claim is in Kenya.
