The above story I took it on sky news : for the purpose of asking you a question. They have written that 'at least seven people have been killed' my question is why they didn't write ' at least seven people died? Instead they write .....they have been died as if it's happening every time.

"At least 7 people have people have been killed" It means exactly that they have confirmed 7 people have killed by other people ( it means exactly that somebody, some people killed them)

When you say at 7 people have died it can means anything for example natural death, suicidal, old age or accidental death or other method of death.

Anzisha group LA WhatsApp tuwe tunachat kwa hii lugha maana bila mazoezi ni bure binafsi najua maneno mengi lakn kuyaongea ni shida

It's a good idea. But before we create such group! we should have a person who is very competent to correct us

It's a good idea. But before we create such WhatsApp group! we should have a person who is competent in English to correct us. If there are anyone who knows such English WhatsApp charting group. Please connect me with them.
The one who will create that group, he or she should add me.

Thanks for your elaboration but i am still having another question why the writer used ' have been killed' instead of saying ' seven people killed ' Let's discuss the word 'been' 0n this story.

Mkuu that is why i use this word "fairly competent". It means i am not the best but i am making progress, and i think i can help my brothers and sisters.

Look bro, i am not claiming that i am English teacher or English Expert, just Tanzanian who think i can help others Tanzanian a little bit.

I am still learning myself, we can all help each other. I can also learn from you.

I think we we should always try support each other and try to help each other just like other people do (Indians Arabs, Jewish, Chinese, Europeans) instead of criticising each other all the time. It is a little bit silly and counter productive.
Well said bro...

I will do my best to help you my friend. Ask anything you want. I will always be here for you.

By the way it seems anytime you open up about your life experience in JF you are attacked. It supposed to be free forum. It supposed to be a place where Tanzanian support each each, build up each other, help each other. But some people have other ideas.
Hello Mr can you tell me on which way as a beginner of these language am supposed to start

Have been killed it means they have confirmed they are dead already.

Been means : action which is already finished or in past participle tense.

Ila vipi kuna kamusi yenye kumaanisha "yeah shoot=yes ask"?

Nahitaji kujifunza lugha hii.

Hakuna tatizo nikimjibu MTU " yeah shoot"?

It's because it isn't proper use of the language..

For academic, official, formal or business English, don't use it. But if it's just small talk, informal or friendly chitchat, feel free to use it

It's good you have noticed that not everything they say out there is correct/ appropriate. Check out (among others) urbandictionary.com for more info

(mwanzo kabisa, may they rest in peace)

Both, are correct. It depends on other actions surrounding the main action being reported. (Also, mambo na media huwa tricky kidogo. They choose their words carefully)

"Have been" gives the impression that it is a recent action and is highly probable that it might or is still going on.

Notice the introduction? "At least..."

Meaning, the number of people can rise/ increase...
