Blasphemous. the word is an arabic in origin. Very common in islam. It means the one who is against and denies islam. Any one.

The long narration you have presented here, is very much misleading. In south africa it was mis used only to instigate hatred in the african population. We muslims never use it that way.

To us KAFIR is not an insult, it is a description of such persons as I have mentioned above.

So bad so many people are misled.
