Majini ni nini?
Kwanza kabisa yatupasa kuelewa nini maana ya neno jini, Neno jini linatokana na neno la kiarabu Jinn (
djinn au
Jinnee). Na lina maana ya kitu kisichoonekana au kilichofichika. (Mapepo).
Tafsiri kutoka kamusi za kiingereza zinaeleza hivi maana ya neno jini:

Kwa hali hiyo basi, Majini ni miongoni mwa viumbe alivyo viumba M'Mungu kama tulivyoumbwa Binadam, Malaika, Wanyama na viumbe vingine tusivyo vijuwa, wakiwemo wadudu wa aina mbali mbali.
Matumaini kuwa mpaka hapo wasomaji wengine watakuwa wameelewa nini maana ya neno jini.

Kwenye ulimwengu wa kiroho si kwa waislamu tu ambao wanahusishwa na kuwepo kwa majini,

Haya ni majini ambayo yanasumbuwa watu na kufanya ukorofi kama walivyo baadhi ya binadamu wenye tabia chafu za kukaa vichochoroni na kukaba watu nyakati za usiku na wakati mwingine mchana kweupe.
Kwenye Biblia Majini au Mapepo asili yao ni Malaika. Baada ya kuasi amri ya M'Mungu wakafukuzwa wao pamoja na kiongozi wao Lucifer (Ibilisi). Kwa Jinsi hiyo Malaika wabaya huitwa kwa jina la Pepo.

Kuna majina mengi tu yanayo tumika kumaanisha neno jini, mfano mapepo (pepo), demons, Lucifer, Ghost . Wamasai wao wanawajuwa kwa jina tofauti.
Wapo baadhi ya watu wanawaita kimakosa kwa jina la shetani. Wanashindwa kuelewa kuwa neno shetani ni sifa mbaya, sifa ambayo hata binadamu anapoonekana kuwa ni mwenye kufanya vitendo viovu uhitwa kwa jina la shetani.

Kwenye ulimwengu wa imani ya kuamini dini, majini nayo yana imani tofauti tofauti kama vile tulivyo sisi binadamu. Kuna majini yenye kuamini Uislam, Ukristo, Uhindu, Upagani, na hata dini ambazo tuanziita za jadi. Na kuna yale majini yasioamini kuwepo kwa M'Mungu.

Ni vipi anatakiwa mwislam kuamini kuhusiana na majini?
(a) Wao (Majini) ni viumbe wa M'Mungu, kama ambavyo M'Mungu alivyoumba malaika vile vile aliumba majini na watu.
(b) Qur-an Tukufu haikuelezea namna ya sifa ya ndani ya maisha ya majini isipokua tu vile
walivyoumbwa kwa moto, na namna ya kuongea kwao na sisi kuongea nao na kuwasiliana nao.
(c) Lakini la kuzingatia mno ni kwamba Qur'an kwa nguvu zote inakataza watu kutaka msaada

Hawawashi wala hawazimi, wala hawatufanyii lolote gumu kuwa jepesi wala jepesi kuwa gumu, wala hawafanyi lililopo mbali kuwa karibu. Wala hawana uwezo wa kumdhuru yeyote mwenye kumuani M'Mungu.
Huenda watu wakaomba roho hao yaani majini au mapepo wawalinde, wawadhuru wengine, watabiri wakati ujao, au wafanye miujiza. Hakika huu ni ushetani na ni uovu mkubwa.
Mwisho wa yote wao (majini) ni viumbe waliopo chini ya mamlaka ya M'Mungu hawatoki kwenye himaya yake, wala hawawezi kutoka nje ya hukumu zake, kama vile walivyo viumbe wengine.
Ndugu mwislam na wale ambao si waislam watambue kuwa Uislam ni DINI iliyokuwa mbali mno na ushirikina, kwa kutabiri mambo yatakayotokea kwa uongo. Na tutambue kuwa majini watalipwa kwa vitendo vyao vizuri au vibaya kwa ushahidi wa Qur'an, M'Mungu anasema:

During the 1200's when gargoyles first appeared (and at many other times), the Roman Catholic Church was actively involved in converting people of other faiths to the Catholic, often very keenly indeed (as the Christian but non-Catholic Cathars could testify). The argument for decorated gargoyles runs as follows. Since literacy was generally not an option for most people, images were very important. Since the religious images (if any) that non-Christians were accustomed to were of animals or mixtures of animals and humans (e.g. the horned god, the Green Man), then putting similar images on churches and cathedrals would encourage non-Catholics to join the religion and go to church, or at least make them feel more comfortable about it, or at least ease the transition. This argument has reasonable grounds if you think about some of the other accomodations the Christian (not just Catholic) church has made, such as fixing the birth of Christ at around the winter solstice to fit in with existing pagan celebrations. Even the Romans made similar adaptations, e.g. in Britain the Celtic goddess Suli worshipped at modern day Bath bore a remarkable resemblance to the Roman goddess Minerva. Rather than replace Suli and upset the locals, both were incorporated into and revered in the Roman baths there. It's amazing how flexible an established church can be if it needs to be - pagan images? no problem if it puts bums on seats.
The Gargoyle Myth and how gargoyles drive off evil:I've put comments in brackets().
They can stand guard and ward off unwanted spirits and other creatures. If they're hideous and frightening they can scare off all sorts of things. They come alive at night when everyone's asleep (and you can't see them to prove that they don't) so
they can protect you when you're vulnerable. Better still, the ones with wings can fly round the whole area and cover the village or town as well as the church. (And if someone does see something, who's to say whether it was just a bat or one of the
gargoyles on the wing?) They return to their places when the sun comes up (and no-one can prove that they weren't out and about, and no-one respectable who rises and sets with the sun is going to be mistaken by them for an enemy and be dealt with). If you want to see an example of the kind of gargoyle that fits the myth, look at the ones on Woburn church.

HAKUNA majina ya kiislam wala ya Kikristo kwenye ulimwengu wa Imani.
Haya tunayo yaita majina ya Kiislam au kikristo kwa asili ni majina ya Kiarabu, kiyahudi au kutoka uropa kwa maana ya majina ya kizungu. Swala hili la majina nakumbuka tulisha wahi kulizungumzia kabla, kwa mtu kuitwa Aziz, Mpambalioto, Judith, Mkejina, Mariam, John haina maana yoyote zaidi ya kumtofautisha kati ya huyu na yule. Yaaani ni katika kuturahisishia tufahamiane tu, hakuna la zaidi. Unaweza kuitwa Fungameza na ukawa ni muumini mzuri wa dini au imani yako. M'Mungu aangalii unaitwa nani, anacho angalia ni kile unacho kiamini ndani ya nafsi yako. Yaani uchaji wako Kwake.
