See on the picture a parved road and parking places on the vicinity r visible meaning with little upgrade the settlements can be formalized! there is no way Nairobi misses in that list! Slums are informal or unplanned settlements. There isnt distinction btwn the two.

Slum = cluster of informal settlement

Informal settlement = poorly built houses at least in Nairobi slums are in specific areas and there alone unlike in Dar where unapata mtu amejenga palacr hapa Kando yake ni nyumba ya matope na mabati!!
