Let`s wait and see how the Nairobi Central station will look like. So far Syiokimau is the best station for me in the entire commuter sytem

Very true syokimau is quite elegant.
I think Nairobi central will have that historical victorian look from the colonial times as part of it's charm. Two boarding platforms have already been built to make three boarding platforms, and the underground tunnels connecting the platforms with station exits and entry are being renovated.

Notice the turnstiles which will scan your ticket before entering the boarding platforms. All the commuter train stations have these and also self service ticket machines.

Now I am waiting for all the businesses that will set up shop in the train stations targeting the passengers.

In phase 1 the service is targeting 300,000 passengers daily. Once all 5 phases are complete the service will manage to cater for more than 1.5 million passengers daily.

The JKIA train station renders (To be done in Phase 2) also looks amazing. The efficiency that will be introduced by Nairobi expressway and commuter rail to JKIA will make JKIA the hub of choice.

5 zilifika hujasoma hapo juu ama kizungu kimekupita. Zingine 6 ziko njiani karibu kufika hapo Mombasa. Tuliza boli ngoja inspection imalizwe na ineco alafu ziwekwe rangi ya Kenya Railways hapo kwenye workshop ya Kenya railways, utachoka mwanaume!Ndani yake mambo ni ulaya, air conditioner na starehe aje.

Mbio ni 100 km/hr kwa MGR yani unafanya kazi Nairobi ukienda nyumbani kilomita 50 nje ya CBD unafika na dakika hamsini.
Na zitakuwa zinapita kila saa (hourly).
