Yani tumemaliza sgr ya over 700km track length na over thirty train stations, 200 km ya commuter rail na 25 commuter train stations na wenzetu wa kusini hata 200 km ya kwanza bado wanahangaika hii ni mwaka ya 4. Tuko mbioni kumaliza 27 km ya elevated highway wenzetu kusini barabara ya 19 km imewashinda kumaliza sasa ni mwaka ya tatu.
Ukweli ni kwamba ule mtu aliroga Tanzania, alikufa. Yani hawa watu hakuna kitu wanaeza fanya vizuri.
Hebu nioneshe mahali mmejenga hyo 200km ya commuter rail.

This is european standard. Nimeishi Europe na hivi ndivyo DMU zinavyofanana ndani. Hakuna kitu kilichobadilishwa. Hii ni international standard na wala usijaribu kuilinganisha na basi. Hii ni treni. Interesting facts

i) The MGR is a heavy freight line not just passengers i.e the revamping of the MGR including Nairobi-Nanyuki and Nairobi commuter rail has a cargo component to it. Today the president also launched a transit cargo shed at nairobi central station for small scale traders who import via the sgr.

ii) The MGR offers last mile freight for cargo going to inner towns not covered by the sgr e.g. Nanyuki,Chaka,Thika etc.

iii) The MGR can carry more unconventional cargo like raw farm produce. Before falling into disrepair it ferried horses, cabbages,tea, tomatoes, cows, goats etc from Central kenya to Nairobi.
