James Harden was tremendous on the offensive side of the ball in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. He poured in 41 points on 14-of-24 shooting and dished out seven assists, directly contributing to 55 of the Rockets' 106 points. Unfortunately for everyone in Houston, it wasn't enough, as the Warriors won 119-106 to take a 1-0 lead in the series and steal home-court advantage.

A day later, Harden was clearly frustrated by the loss, and he decided to express it by talking spicy to the media.

"We're in this together," Harden said on Tuesday afternoon. "I can't do it by myself, we need everyone to be at their top play. Whether it's [Chris Paul], whether it's Eric [Gordon], whether it's [PJ Tucker], we need to just open up, talk about the game, talk about things that we see, that they see from their angle. We can get better on things that they saw that actually worked, and we'll figure it out."

Yikes. It's understandable that Harden is frustrated after losing a game in which he dropped 41 points, but this is not a great sign. He didn't exactly come out and trash his teammates, but he was certainly sending a message that they need to be better.

And now, he's absolutely right. Chris Paulwas fine, finishing with 23 points and 11 assists, and Eric Gordon had 15 points off the bench, but pretty much everyone else was a non-factor. Trevor Ariza, P.J. Tucker, Ryan Anderson, Luc Mbah a Moute, Neneand Gerald Green combined for a whopping 15 points. That's never going to be good enough, but especially not against the Warriors.

However, Harden deciding to send that message in public rather than in the locker room is risky. We'll see if it pays off in Game 2 on Wednesday night.

Man, it ain't over till there's a team with 4 Ws! So pump your brakes, mate!. These are the playoffs, and CFs to even make them matter so bad!.
I'm a GSW stalwart, but I'm the kind of a fan that gives respect to any opponent and never underestimate the other side no matter their circumstances.
With that said, it's still a 7-games series and there's no team in sight with the 4 Ws, therefore a whole lot is still up for grabs for both the 'Tics and the Cavs.
Up until the Tics have all the 4 Ws,... Don't count out the Cavs yet, mate!.
The same goes to my band of Warriors in here.
You have misunderstood me. I have not said the series is over i said LBaj is doomed in either way. If he wins Warriors will beat him badly in the finals, if he lose he lost to 21 yr olds that is bad than even losing to warriors
First 90% of teams that goes 2-0 wins the series
We just say the series isnt over because we know what lebron can do.
Warriors will eliminate the rockets am not even a warrior fan and i know that.

He has the Keys, he isn't handing them now.
Teams achieve success when players put aside the desire to be the star and instead attempt to be the most useful to the group they can be, meaning they help where they can -- even if it won't be noticed. While the person who helps someone else score may be recognized, the person who picks up the slack left by the helper won't be; however, this is the most vital part of teamwork.

You may not be that someone who finally puts the ball into the basket but at least you contributed in one way or another by touch, pass or assist...that is teamwork! A team must have new "culture guys," who will strive to shift the team's entire mindset from me-me-me to, well, the greater good, by encouraging a standard of selfless teamwork and this is what is meant by [HASHTAG]#strengthinnumbers[/HASHTAG].

When James Harden touches the ball 100 times while the rest of players touch the ball only 120 times in total, that's no teamwork. Team leaders should not be blinded by superstars and three-pointers and then ignore the necessary "defensive" grunt work of operations. Reason: The latter is what actually wins championships.

Shaq and Charles Barkley got into a heated argument about the Raptors that got personal
One of the reasons that so many basketball fans enjoy the NBA on TNT's coverage is because it's often raw and real. It's just a cast of characters sitting down at a desk and discussing the game in a casual (yet entertaining) fashion. It's like how you and your friends would discuss the game ... if your friends were former NBA Stars.

But that sort of coverage opens the door for things to get a bit too real, which is where we found ourselves on Tuesday night.

While discussing the Raptors' disappointing playoff run and head coach Dwane Casey's relationship with DeMar DeRozan, Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley got into a heated back-and-forth about whether Casey needs to extend an olive branch to DeRozan. Chuck believed it was necessary, and Shaq vehemently disagreed, saying players need to stop being babied.

As they volleyed across the desk, things increasingly got more tense and personal.

Shaq delivered the first dagger at Barkley, who failed to capture an NBA title over his 16-year career.

"You don't know what you're talking about when it comes to championships," O'Neal quipped. "You got got babied, and that's why you didn't win."

With personal jabs officially on the table, Barkley responded with one of his own towards Shaq.

"I didn't have Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant carry me up and down the court," he replied.

However, that wasn't the most effective retort from Barkley, as Shaq was quick to point out that he was named NBA Finals MVP in three of his four championship runs. That's not exactly being carried.

Eventually, Kenny "The Jet" Smith had enough of the bickering between his two co-hosts and decided to jump in to steer the conversation in a different direction, and at that point it was probably a good decision. Like a fight between friends, that exchange was quite uncomfortable to watch, yet intensely riveting at the same time.

But, in the end, stuff like this is exactly what makes the NBA on TNT so great. Whether it's goofy and silly or heated and tense, it's real and it's driven by personality and character.

Who doesn't need help?
Superman...when superman cries for help definitely something must be amiss somewhere and yet here I was of the opinion that LBJ is no ordinary mortal. I was made to believe that he does [HASHTAG]#whateverittakes[/HASHTAG] to win matches even if it means carrying the whole CAVs squad on his shoulders...😀😀😀

[B]Nzi[/B], how about tonight...do Warriors stand a chance? I will be here #whatever-the-result!

Umeona DC Comics' Justice League? Superman alihitaji msaada wa Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg na the Flash, na ngoma ikawa nzito bado.

Inafurahisha kwa namna Bron mnavyomweka na kumtathmini kwenye the highest standards ever, even higher than Babu!!

Sina hakika kama ulinipata...nafikiri umeniweka katika kundi lililo geni kwangu ila bado haiondoi ukweli kuwa LBJ is among the best.

I missed the first half ila naona Rockets hawataki mchezo this time;. si mbele ya mashabiki wao! Nimesimuliwa jins tatu tatu zinavyonyesha kama mvua...leo Warriors wanalala nini, hebu tuendelee kutazama.

Hivi mashabiki wa Rockets hawamo humu? Mbona kimya sana ama bado baridi imewabana tokea juzi...ha ha haaa! Ni mchezo tu jamani!

3Q is for GSW, but we need to make a W by large margin.

Paid off.

Keys to dethroning the Champions obtained.

Goodbye GSWs
