Warriors obviously deserved to win the ship, but they were also very lucky compared to their opponents, First round Pelicans( Okay so they were the top seed they deserved this match-up), then they faced the Grizzlies who had either Tony Allen out most of the series ( he's one of the greatest perimeter defenders ever) and Conley their PG was either out or playing injured, then they faced the Rockets with Howard ( a mental midget) and Harden ( one dimensional, great scorer but always hides in big moments), they actually escaped a dogfight vs one of the top teams out west, Spurts and Clippers who were beating each other out in the first round. If they faced the Spurs or Clippers(to a lesser extent) they would be in big trouble.
Then in the finals they faced LeBron with a duct taped roster, Kyrie got injured in the first game, what this means is, Curry didn't have to face any good point guard who would make him work on both ends of the floor, which would tire him off.
It was easy for them to just focus on LeBron(who still put amazing numbers), Cavs were obviously getting tired in 4th quarters because they had so many key players out(3 starters were out Varejao, Love and Irving), their roster was thin, and their best player wasn't getting rested enough so in a way this was a big advantage to the warriors.
If both teams were healthy, or if only Kyrie was healthy, this would be a difficult series for the dubs because Kyrie would force Steph to play on both ends of the floor i.e they would even themselves out in a way, also LeBron would have help because he was the only guy in the cavs that could actually create his own shot, Irving would be another one.
I am not discrediting their championship but i think they need to validate it by winning again, next season the Thunder with a new coach and KD back will be tough.
