New administration under Samia Suluhu gives hope after 5 years of hopelessness

She is hellbent to sustain guzzling our money unto what she terms strategic projects "miradi ya kimkakati" which have failed every imaginable cost benefit appraisal as a result we labelled them "white elephants "

Regrettably, "miradi ya kimkakati" motivate public servants to waste our taxes in them because official graft blinds whatever is left of their wisdom

She says she dreams of increasing salaries but the impact of Covid-19 global pandemic has restrained her but that is untruthful because she is expanding public employment. She is not reducing the size of the cabinet but she is expanding it. She is adding more ambassadors whom we do not need. She is even not willing to cut the fat in the government like her own salary and those so called national leaders including their insane pension. She is bribing past presidents with mansions and luxury saloons to win their loyalty which they do not ask for nor need but a smaller guy whose needs of a living wage she treats with so much contempt.

To show some seriousness, she can begin by reducing the size of her cabinet to 15 ministries with no deputies and no deputies to permanent secretaries, lower salaries of national leaders and have one pension scheme for all public servants.

She can outlaw overseas medical treatment. She can reach out to the opposition and find a common path to resolve the constitutional impasse. Where a new constitution is a foolish aspiration but restructuring of NEC and revoking election laws which empowers local government presidential appointees such as DEDs to massively rigging our elections will meet the minimum expectations of most of us. We do not wish to go into the next elections with a CCM appointed election commission whose purposes and intents is a poorly guarded secret.

We are not begging because we were not born beggars so we are demanding a new NEC which will reflect and preserve the character of our multiparty democracy where all political parties are somehow are represented as we had proposed elsewhere in this thread.

And, DEDs will have no say to pick our representatives.

She cannot even give us an independent election commission so because of that and knowing she is plotting to stop the vote counting in 2025 and declare herself and her CCM allies as outright winners with a landslide mandate to govern without a single vote being counted which will be a 2020 dejavu therefore we need ask ourselves who really needs her?

CCM is run by sadists who love to see others suffer. They hate God so much that a global pandemic is a golden chance to send most of us below the poverty line a gratitude of heavy taxation

They parlay development agenda to justify daylight robbery via a harsh and unconscionable tax regime.

We never believe in coincidence. Suspicious fires looks too surreal and prestaged to be genuine. They are descending fast and furious with no let-up. We suspect arsonists are looking for excuses to an opposition clampdown that will derail and defer the opposition clamour for so called katiba mpya....we had already ruled what we need is just minimum reforms which will fix the NEC and election laws that will pave a credible path for a free and fare elections in 2025. It is preposterous to trust election thieves who have no mandate to govern to reengineer our constitutional bottlenecks. If we do we gonna surrender our rights in almost every way...be vigilant or prepare to suffer to these bunch of sadists..

Domestic terrorism that led to the arrests without charge of UAMSHO stalwarts we suspect were surreptitiously cooked to justify their detention. It is an excruciating, spooky feeling we juggle with sometime now...we hold no evidence but a mere gut premonition, we must concede.

After the illegal detention the explosions just disappeared simply because the ends justified the means.

Blaming the opposition for state sponsored terrorism is not new. Who forgets the IGP who showcased knives by then recently painted with CUF colours? He never paraded even a single owner of those painted knives of whom the police had allegedly apprehended them. That curse is now CCM snare and a launchpad of similar stratagem. The only difference the scale and the nature of their devices have transmogrified to terrifying heights.

WHY NOW?

We project the protagonists of Katiba mpya will soon be rounded up and charged for arson.

The other motive could be antagonising the electorate against the rejuvenated opposition after they found the spring in their step following the demise of the African despot. We warn the domestic terrorism instigators nobody gonna buy your yarn. Just shelve your folly before it reveals what resides in your upstairs...

We also project they will never see their criminal indictments culminating into any hearing.

The problem not the quality of the constitution but its colossal abuses by those in power. They obey it when it is beneficial to them but disobey it when it places them in a quandary.

Even if there is a new constitution do not expect CCM will relinquish the control of NEC without a bloodbath. Surrendering the control of NEC is tantamount of coronation of the opposition. That will only be achieved through human sacrificial lambs....lots of them. Talking or reasoning out alone will never move CCM

Certain reforms demand human sacrifice to secure them. There is no easy pickings when the issues of bread are at stake.

Kenya and South Africa paid the ultimate prize and TZ may learn the journey is gonna replicate them or endure constitutional impasse.
