Tofauti ya Kenya na Tanzania ni kwamba Kenya ikikopa, tunasema hio pesa inaenda kwa project fulani.
Mfano, tutakopa $3 billion ambayo inaenda kwa SGR.
Lakini Tanzania ikikopa, inachanganisha hio pesa na budget yake ya mwaka, alafu indirectly inaziweka kwa projects.
Baadaye, populist president wenu atakuja aseme kwamba ni pesa yenu.

Be informed, Kenya haina miradi wowote ule mkubwa unaofikia $1B, hizo unazopiga ni porojo na uongo mtupu, mradi mkubwa kwa sasa Kenya ni Lamu port serikali ilitoa $500M sasa hivi hakuna pesa zingine.

Projects zote zilizoanza zinaenda na kukamilika kwa wakati, BRT, JKNIA imefikia 95%, May 2018 unafunguluwa rasmi, SGR unaanza kazi November 2019, Hospitali ya Mloganzila imeanza kazi this year, TAZARA Flyover imeanza kazi, nini inataka?.

The parent company of Accacia has agreed to pay. That in itself is addmition of guilt.
If the $190bn was just hot air, accacia would have simply closed it mines and gone or launched a case at World Trade Org for anti trust laws..and FYI.. the theft of 85bn has been going on for atleast 2 decades.

Agreeing to pay a fine does not equate to admission of guilt. If you are running a company you have to decide how to deal with a pyscho president if you want to remain in business.
Do you close down shop and lose everything or do you take a hit and recover in 3 years?
Also, shutting down does not mean the dictator will let you leave with your equipment. Supremo can easily nationalize your operation, making you lose much more than the $300 million fine.
Since you pretend to be an economist, you should know all options must be weighed.

You must be ignorant, $300m was just a sort of down payment pending solution on how the company will restructure its finances to payback $190bn.
JPM is not stupid, no company can write you a cheque of 190bn, they have to plan themselves and payback over years.
If Accacia/ barrick was not Guilty, they could be in WTO court right now and Tz would be facing international sanctions..
