With all the hate he(Jesse) was trying to put on him(Obama), he couldn't believe the guy is now up to the top job on Earth......Jesse Jackson is among the guys who were supposed to pull him up but i'm afraid he showed the World that he was not, with all apologies he(Jesse) has made about his comments on Obama especially in this crucial moments shows that he had a sort of jealous on him.
I like Farrakhan, but also Louis Farrakhan was not so straight on the issue...some of his comments about Obama was appalling!!! one of his meeting he tried to mention true black Americans where he mentioned Jesse and himself among others and refered to Obama as some one who apologies for being black...which is not true....imagine a guy (Obama) who has seen his dad once in his life time and has been in the hands of his mum and mums' family..what do you think will be talkink about...they are all black but with different raise up....Jesse has to know this and Farrakhan too. I respect these two people but i was turned off by their unwarranted comments...but as human being ...i still like them, they are great but they have to learn to go with facts and not being ruled by opinions.
Obama is the guy who never resprocate hate to hate, he is the guy who believe in himself...and guys who lets things go, when some were saying that "he is less American" others like respected black Americans say he is not a black American but African American" he resprocated like what Collin Powell said that "he is and will remain American in first place", other things are subsidiary.
Collin Powell is a distiquished figure of our time, he is selfless, thinker and objective person(American)...if you make a followup of his analysis before election and after election you'll agree with me that he is great person, to me he is second to non and he deserves a special mention.
So the action showed by Jesse on that day, is not easy to define in absolute terms but we still can give him the benefit of doubt that it's emotions about what happened mixed with happiness that the black kid wherever he/she is has got a really down to earth and selfless role model (Obama) and the dream Jesse and others were searching is atleast starting (in my view) to emerge.
Big Up Obama.
