These are projects that are part and parcel of our development road map. I know after kenya starts projects, you guys hurry to launch smaller versions of the same without forethought(Impulsive creatures), then along the way you get stuck after launching several times. These projects were thought out decades ago eg Lamu port has been in GoK books for almost thirty years. Vision 2030 is a road map for kenya upto the year 2030 , if you are waiting for us to stop you have 11 more years to wait.

More is coming including a 450km dual carriage highway road from Busia-siaya-kisumu-homa bay-migori-Tanzania. Also a pipeline from turkana to Lamu port (sorry i heard yours is suspended), an sgr line from Lamu to ethiopia and another from isiolo to the mombasa-nairobi sgr linking Lamu port to Nairobi.
Another is a friendship city between kenya and ethiopia at moyale, Lamu industrial city, Isiolo resort city etc.
You get the gist keep holding your breath,you will die waiting.

Very true it is the duty of government to protect the natural rights of individuals and the right for people to pursue happiness in the way they see fit. It is not in the best interest of business to oppress people and if left to the market, the market can easily get rid of such a business by not buying it's products. In summary the market has a solution for most human needs but regulations stifle the market.

Probably it is because I am a firm believer in objectivism and the maximization of the potential of the individual as the highest ideal. I am more in line with Ayn Rand on the economic side.
