President Samia: Some don't believe that women can lead

Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan says there were people who doubted she was qualified to lead when she first became head of state because she was a woman.

In an exclusive interview with BBC Africa's Salim Kikeke, President Suluhu also spoke about her Covid-19 strategy, growing the economy and democracy in Tanzania.

Furthermore I certainly think that implicit bias is only reason why people continue to lack faith in female leadership.
