5: Boda Bodas (or Nduthi's as young Nairobian's call them)
Not much to write home about in terms of boda bodas in Nairobi but I also noticed that these are used mainly by a.) those in a hurry to bypass traffic, b.) to access areas not quite reachable by Bus/Matatu e.g a bus from Kencom Stage to Hurlingham (Chaka Road) then a boda boda to Lenana road (which is the most popular use of them) or c.) messengers delivering goods. They therefore tend not to cover huge distances. All are required by law to wear reflector jackets and helmets for both driver and passenger which is (mostly adhered to...).

6. Bonus:
As Nairobi doesn't have a water body nearby, there is no use for ferries or boats but for a few shillings one can pedal around with a loved one on the numerous paddle boats at Uhuru Park, 🙂

Wewe unashinda ukiomba evidence juu ya Nairobi, mbona na wewe usiweke evidence ya kwamba Dar in transport system bora kushinda ya Kenya? Hawa ambao wanakuambia ya Kenya ni poa kushinda ya Dar sio hata wakenya, ni watanzania wenzako, and I believe they are just as strongly patriotic towards their country as u are, but after their observations, there are just some facts they cannot help but admit.
But their admission is met with such shockingly abbrassive responses from u and some of your myopic collegues. I saw somewhere u even insulted somebody's mother, all for giving his opinion, which was really uncalled for. He only said that some people in Dar behave like uncouth apes when boarding the transport vehicles, and that was nothing to be so livid about.

Now tell us the truth, is Tanzania's transport system really better than Nairobi? And if it is really better owing to the DART, what portion of the commuters rely on that service? Are u trying to imply that it is the key mode of transportation for most residents of Dar?

Wewe umepagawa sana na dart, dart lazima isaidie a small portion because haijasambaa dsm nzima, na bado inaendelea kujengwa na kusambazwa zaidi, kuna maeneo wanategemea mabehewa kufika maeneo ya kazi, wengine mabasi, wengine toyo, wengine bajaji, wengine meli na panton, issue ni kwamba dart imekuja kusaidia wakazi maelfu wa kimara, ubungo etc kufika town within a short period of time unlike awali. Therefore Tz one is better than Nairobi kutokana na fact there's a wider variety ya wakazi wa dsm kuchagua vyombo vya usafiri kushinda wakazi wa Nairobee, kwanini? Sababu kwenyu hakuna dart, hakuna bajaji, hapo sijagusia marine vehicles sababu hakuna bahari Nairobi, so unaweza kuona usafiri wa ardhini tumewazidi kwa matumizi ya dart na bajaji.
