Huu ubishi wenu wa kujaribu kukwepa ukweli kwamba tatizo kubwa la upungufu wa chakula Kenya ni kutokana na uzembe wenu, ndio sababu kubwa ya kuendelea kwa tatizo la njaa Kenya.

Haijalishi kwamba eneo la Rwanda linalisha watu wachache kuliko Kenya, muhimu ni kwamba Rwanda wanajitosheleza kwa chakula, Rwanda &Burundi are tiny countries, but don't rely on food donations or import big part of their food.

Ulianza vizuru but you are inclining towards the usual rhetoric. Give Rwanda 42 million people (the population of Kenya) to feed and see what happens. It will be chaotic than what's happening in Kenya right now. It doesn't matter how big or small Rwanda is. Here, we are talking about the population it needs to feed with the available arable land they have. That's why I am telling you that the dynamics aren't the same.

Kuhusu kilimo Tanzania, I thought you were going to list high-tech farming methods when you said that mumejenga miradi mikubwa ya kilimo ya "kisasa" kutuliko. I din't know you meant the usual irrigation schemes.

You need to be factual with information here, don't just talk for the sake of it. During President Moi's time, hunger was not much of a problem because draught was at manageable levels. This was the same case even during Kibaki's first term in office. The situation became worse around 2012 when Kenya and many parts of East Africa experienced draught known as the worst in 60 years. In fact, hundreds of thousands of people from Somalia and Ethiopia escaped to Kenya in search of food and shelter. These are documented facts, not mere words.

Since that time, the number of Kenyans going hungry has increased as rains continue to fail in most parts of the country, particularly in arid and semi-arid areas. So when you mention since independence, I don't know what you mean. Give me any reports on hunger in Kenya in late 90s and early 2000s Kama utapata
