Nyerere aliyafanya haya:

"In October 1966, around 400 university students marched to State House to protest this. Nyerere spoke to the crowd in defence of the measure, and agreed to reduce government salaries, including his own."

Una maana hawa wetu ambao mishahara na posho zao ni siri, ila tozo kwetu moja baada ya nyingine kuongezwa kila leo ndiyo hawafanyi maigizo?

Si kuwa haya ya ulaji kwa urefu wa kamba za watu kwetu ni tatizo zaidi?

When asked why? Ministry of Finance sources said that each time efforts to pay the President are made, the president responds by saying, “Let’s focus on working for the people of Zambia. It is service to the people and not self-service”.

And President Hakainde Hichilema has maintained his position that he does not want to be given thousands of titles such as His Excellency but that he would rather be addressed as Mr. President.

Asked why? Sources stated that such titles breed dictators and worshipping of people and that it is not titles that deliver work but oneself adding clamour for titles may be taken for an inferiority complex.

Huyu jamaani ni tajiri no 1 Zambia, hakuingia madarakani kutafuta kazi ili alipwe bali kutumikia WaZambia. Kwa hiyo, hako kamshahara ka uraisi sio dili kwake kwa sababu tayari hela anazo

Mbwembwe tu, alishateua ndugu zake kwenye vitengo akiwemo mtoto wake wakati alikuwa akiponda aliepita.
Haya ni maagizo tu kama ya yule jamaa aliyesema anajishushia mshahara.
Halafu kutopokea mshahara sio kipimo cha kufanya kazi.
Watu wanataka maisha bora na maendeleo sio story za wewe kutopokea mshahara hiyo ni political mileage tu.

Isijekuwa anaacha mshahara wa alafu anachukua posho ya mara hamsini ya mshahara wake...

Cha maana achukue mshahara wake ili akidhi maisha na vilevile abane matumizi na kama yeye ameweza kuishi miezi nani bila salaru huenda its about time waangalie huenda wanacholipwa ni kikubwa sana..

Anyway heko kwake ili isijekuwa ni maigizo tu
 
Hapo jirani Uganda mtu akiingia ikulu anahakikisha anao mshahara mnono, wakwe zake anawapa ukatibu mkuu, watoto wanapewa ubunge na ukuu wa majeshi, wapwa uwaziri, nyumba ndogo ukuu wa mkoa, besti anapewa wizara ya fweza.

Hichilema is the richest man in Zambia. Posho hachukui Ila huduma zote kuanzia chakula Hadi malazi anapewa bure na serikali.

Huenda utakuwa humjui vizuri HH inavyoonesha. Hichilema akiendelea namna alivyo sasa anaweza kuwa miongoni mwa Viongozi wenye kupaswa kuigwa Africa. Anastahili kuwekwa group la akina Nyerere, na Nelsonn Mandela.
