POST MATCH ANALYSIS​

A very important away win against Almeria with the Christmas break just around the corner.Real Madrid had just 2 days to prepare for this game and therefore lacked a bit in the intensity against a very physical Almeria side.

DEFENCE:

Our defence comprised of Carvajal,Varane,Pepe and Marcelo.Ramos was suspended tonight due to the accumulation of 5 yellow cards. Carvajal played with four yellows today,had he been booked he might have been out for a very important game against Valencia.Our defence wasn't too good to be honest.And we nearly got punished for it twice but Iker was there for our rescue.I he had not saved the penalty,the result of tonight's match could have been different.

MIDFIELD:

Isco,Kroos and Illara played in midfield for Real Madrid tonight.All three of them were good tonight.Illara and Isco made some crucial interceptions throughout the game.Players like Illaramendi,Khedira and Modric are silent workers,you might not find them on the score sheet often but they are really important for keeping the balance of a side.Apart from his defensive contributions, Isco scored a beautiful goal tonight. Toni Kroos registered his 7th assist of the season by setting up a headed goal for Gareth Bale.

ATTACK:

Bale is picking up his form gradually and he scored a stunning header for Real's second goal.Benzema was very good and selfless as he always is and he played a good ball in Cristiano's path who made it 3-1 for Real Madrid in the 82nd minute.Ronaldo was having a silent night today for most part of the game before he opened the scoring in early 80's by playing a great through ball to Benzema who played it back to Ronaldo who finished it off with ease.Ronaldo then went on to score a quick fire brace thanks to wonderful run and a cut back by Carvajal. Ronaldo is now well ahead of others in the chase of Pichichi and Golden boot by scoring 25 league goals.

20th straight win for the Whites.

The save to prevent Verza's penalty with the scoreboard reading 1-2 was decisive. His spot-kick stop dashed Almería's hopes and spurred his side on.

Casillas: "We have finished our last La Liga game of the year in a very solid and comprehensive way. It was a really difficult game but we found our way through".

Penalty save?: "It was a key moment. If we had let the goal in it would have been different because they would have equalised, but the team reacted and really got into the game. We leave here home happy".

Club world cup?: Fingers crossed that we, Madrid and the fans will have another success to celebrate. It will be difficult because as we saw today, things can get complicated and that could also happen at the Club World Cup

Ndio nilikuwa naangalia BBC Sport walikuwa wanasema only Ronaldo 25 Goals na hii wanayoiita "Best trio for a reason", yaani Messi ,Saurez na Neymar : 24 Goals
