Bale played the whole game in a goalless draw between Belgium and Wales. The Real Madrid midfielder was one of the stand-out individuals in an encounter that brought the Welsh another point in their quest to qualify for the European Championship.​

Luka Modric could miss up to 5 weeks

Luka Modric left Croatia's game with a suspected groin injury. Modric had to be subtituted in the 28th minute of Italy-Croatia game of the European Champion qualifying match which ended in 1-1 draw. His doctors over at the Croatia training camp indicate that he will miss from 3 to 5 weeks of action, according to Spanish radio show El Partido de las 12. That could mean that Modric might not return to the lineups until the Christmas break ends, since it might be worthy for Real Madrid not to rush him back for the FIFA Club World Cup.

Again, considering how tricky these muscle injuries are -- and also how important he is inReal Madrid's roster -- it would be good for the doctors to evaluate his groin properly just to make sure that he doesn't get injured as soon as he steps on the pitch again.

First training session of the week in Ciudad Real Madrid

Keylor Navas was the first of the players called up by their countries to join back up with the squad after completing his international duty. The goalkeeper joined Marcelo, Nacho, Arbeloa, Coentrão, Jesé, Pacheco and Carvajal for the first training session of the week. The Madrid full back exercised with the rest of his team-mates on pitch 1 in Ciudad Real Madrid. Illarra performed specific work on his own on the pitch.

Three consecutive away matches


Following the international break, Real Madrid visit Eibar, Basel and Malaga .

Real Madrid will not return to the Santiago Bernabéu until December. Following the international break, the White's face three consecutive games away from home. On 22 November they will visit the Ipurua stadium for their match again Eibar on La Liga matchday 12. Four days later they will play their fifth Champions League Group Stage game in Basel. Lastly, on Saturday 29 November they will travel to Malaga for the thirteen league matchday.

Ancelotti's men will return to their home turf on 2 December to host Cornellà in the Copa del Rey. Until then, they will attempt to extend the good run of results enjoyed away from home over the last few weeks. So far this season, the Whites have played nine competitive games away from home, notching up seven victories and two defeats.

Kroos hands Germany win against Spain

After thrashing Gibraltar (4-0) in a European Championship qualifier, Germany overcame Spain (0-1) in a friendly played in Vigo. Real Madrid's Toni Kroos, who played the full game, hit the match-winner from outside of the area on 89'. Khedira also started, and was substituted in time added on.​
