Bale joined the group for a session where Ancelotti did not train out on the pitch with the players who started in yesterday's thrashing against Éibar. Cristiano Ronaldo, Jesé, Chicharito and Arbeloa did running drills, while the remaining seven players from the starting XI trained at Madrid's indoor facilities.

Casillas and Pacheco carried out specific training exercises. The ten outfield players that joined Ancelotti, warmed up and carried out muscle strengthening exercises before doing different circuits that involved crossing and shots on goal. The Whites ended the session with a half-pitch game.

The Serbian referee took charge of a Whites game during the group stage this year.

Milorad Mazic will referee the game on Tuesday at the Vicente Calderón between Atlético de Madrid amd Real Madrid corresponding to the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Champions League (8.45pm CEST). It will be the second time that he has overseen a Whites game.
