Real Madrid are one game away from the
Champions League final and giving themselves
a real opportunity of being the first ever team to
retain the title.
They will face a Juventus side that travel to the
Bernabéu with a goal advantage and their chests
puffed up after recently having defended their
Serie A title. Allegri's side is without rival in Italy
and they have a great opportunity to do their
country proud in Europe.
Nobody is talking about Sergio Ramos playing as
a midfielder this time round, with events in
Turin having showed that the system didn't
work.
The injury to Modric has given Ancelotti quite a
headache, having tried using six players to cover
his place. Despite it not being his natural
position, James has proved to be the best at
filling in on the right of midfield so far.
Benzema's return is the best possible news for
'Los Blancos'. Since his injury, Real Madrid have
played with less control and less facets to their
attacking options. Benzema is both a striker and
a fourth midfielder, as play dictates. He gives
Ronaldo, who he links up with the most, huge
support, as well as the team's three midfielders.
There will be amazing talent on display in the
middle of the park, with Juve having Pogba
back. Their young, French midfielder is a real
powerhouse with skill to boot, and although he
can be a little inconsistent at times, a team with
Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal and Pogba in their
midfield are difficult to rival across all Europe.
