just curious, nimeona Tz wamepachika kwa mabango vikingi vya reli stima, ebu kwa sababu najua wewe msafiri mara kwa mara hukooo tanganyika. Na unao ufahamu kiasi, moto wa stima watatoa wapi kwani mara ya mwisho niliona wakisema Dar kila biashara lazima generator ya kando!!! Is this a joke of century!!

Hehehe!! Hivi unaamini maigizo ya Wabongo, hadi uishi Dar ndio utapata picha kamili ya hawa wenzetu. Umeme hukatika katika, mjini generator zinarindima kwa mingurumo na harufu ya petroli halafu ukizingatia na joto la Dar na jam/foleni unahisi ovyo.
Tatizo lao kubwa ni mafisadi kupitiliza hususan kwenye haya ya umeme, hebu soma huu uzi Tegeta Escrow: TANESCO yashindwa kesi dhidi ya IPTL. Yaamriwa kulipa zaidi ya Sh. Bilioni 320!

That's phase 1 my friend. Phase 2, Morogoro-Makutupora ,Dodoma (336 km) will start in 2 months. Tenders which are currently open are Dodoma-Tabora (294 km), Tabora-Isaka (133 km) and Isaka-Mwanza (249 km). In total, the whole project will have 2,190 km.
The plan is to have all 2190 km electrified.
Lets wait and see,

Even we don't need to electrify the damn beasts, look at the speed!!! A car doing 120Km/h still cant catch up with the SGR trains!! They have established Nairobi to Mombasa 3 hrs express

Tihahahhaaaaa.... There is No Dar Moro electric train. That is not gonna happen in our life time. With generators making all the noise in Dar...... The best you can do is send those fumes into the atmosphere........... Vipi all the other projects Geza,, Bagamoyo, Dubai ya Kigoma, All the blah blahs from Danganyika

This video did more to market the quality of the Df 11G passenger trains than what Kenya Railways has been doing in a long time.

Kwanza Mash imepitwa utadhani imesimama, and still that car (doing >120) was unable to catch up with the fast train.

Did anyone notice those are police officers???

Assuming railway terminates at Morogoro..
Thousands of passengers travel btwn dar and Moro only everyday,
Again, most of the passengers coming to dar from upcountry(mbeya, Iringa, Sonhea, Mwanza, Dodoma, Bukoba, Tabora, Singida, Kigoma, Sumbawanga, Zambia, Malawi, Congo etc
pass through Morogoro.
We will terminate all these buses at Morogoro and passengers will commute rapid trains..
