Lets wait and see,That's phase 1 my friend. Phase 2, Morogoro-Makutupora ,Dodoma (336 km) will start in 2 months. Tenders which are currently open are Dodoma-Tabora (294 km), Tabora-Isaka (133 km) and Isaka-Mwanza (249 km). In total, the whole project will have 2,190 km.
The plan is to have all 2190 km electrified.

Again, most of the passengers coming to dar from upcountry(mbeya, Iringa, Sonhea, Mwanza, Dodoma, Bukoba, Tabora, Singida, Kigoma, Sumbawanga, Zambia, Malawi, Congo etc
pass through Morogoro.
We will terminate all these buses at Morogoro and passengers will commute rapid trains..
