Resign! Ma'am Speaker... We told you so...

Mwanakijiji you have said rightly.If they were leaders, they would do so.But I am afraid with the kind of type of government with its system which has never been open.What we can only do is voting them (ccm) out of power in the coming general elections of 2015.This will be the best option to save this country, Tanganyika from bloodshed.
 
Makinda na hao waliompachika kwenye hicho kiti walikosea sana. Utaendaji vitani na zana butu huku ukijua kabisa adui yako amejiandaa vilivyo? Spika alichaguliwa (well, alipachikwa) baada ya kujulikana kwa wabunge wanaoingia mjengoni. CCM walijua kabisa, the other side kuna seasoned lawyers, wadadisi na wajenga hoja mahiri, and what did they (CCM) bring? - Makinda!

Na sielewi kwanini naye Makinda amekubali kazi zinazomzidi uwezo? Spika anaongoza vikao vya bunge kwa 'vimemo'!. Kila kunapotokea a heated debate, traffic ya makarani nayo inaongezeka: wanamletea Spika majibu/maelekezo toka kwa AG na mshika kifimbo, Lukuvi. Mbaya zaidi washika remote control hawa -hasa AG- hana historia nzuri sana kwenye maamuzi yaliyojaa ueledi!

Ukweli Makinda na team yake wameleta aibu na fedheha kwa nchi hii. After 51 years, is this the best we have? Hatuna mtu bora zaidi kuongoza vikao vya mhimili huu wa dola na ukafanya kazi zinazoendana na zama hizi za dunia ya ushindani? Spika anaongoza vikao vya mipasho na matusi? Ukitazama mabunge mengine - tena hapa hapa Afrika Mashariki - na kulinganisha la hili la Makinda utaona aibu sana. Makinda angepewa nafasi ya kuongoza Bunge la Kenya -asingedumu hata kwa dakika 2. Wabunge wangemrarua mzima mzima. Ndugai wake ndio kabisa, wangemtoa nje!

Makinda amekuwa kwenye utumishi wa umma all her life, kuanzia TANU hadi CCM-mitandao. Ni jambo la kujutiwa kuwa huyu mama atakumbukwa si kwa mambo aliyofanya huko nyuma bali kwa kuharibu sifa na heshma ya mhimili muhimu wa dola - Bunge! Hili ni doa na hana wa kumlaumu zaidi yake yeye mwenyewe, maana alikuwa na nafasi (a) ya kukataa kazi hiyo au (b) kukataa kupelekeshwa kama kichwa cha mwendawazimu. But she chose the other way round. Na sasa she is not going down-on her own- but also taking the entire CCM-carriage with her! Na kwa wanawake wa Tanzania, what a setback? Tragic!
 
I think she won't read this request from Mzee Mwanakijiji because she cannot dare to visit this forum!

Is there not any other way to deliver it to her?

Shame to our assembly!!
 
Madam Makinda is Hopless,

May be she is missing something,may be she needs a Husband to give her a peace of mind..
 
Madam Speaker very disappointing ,she will not think otherwise meaning she may not accept resignation.She will complete her assignment in 2015,then retire with huge fringe benefits. Or she may play samba dance, may be your next President.
 
Since then I believe she was nominated by her part to run for the chair just because she is a woman with no confidence due to her incompetence and therefore easy to tell what to do.. Remember how they denied competent persons a chance to run for sit?.
Shame on us Tanzanians who just talk and don't take actions that we know are necessary to be taken. Cowards
 
My learned friends,

The last few days in our parliament, have made me believe that the ruling party is fighting again wave of change. I believe that whether we like it or not, the change is coming. I cannot tell you what type of change is coming, but right now it is inevitable. Visionary leaders always adapt to change but I'm afraid our leaders are trying to suppress this change. What they don't see is that the demographics are changing and changing fast. the majority of our people are of post multi-parties era so they want to be heard. We cannot deny them that and if we do they will demand it in other ways. So my advice to the speaker is to read the writing on the wall and lead the house in a democratic way otherwise she will be judged differently.

I think the earlier she decides to step down the better. This country atleast has been passing through different periods with I think the earlier she decides to step down the better for her and the Nation at large. This country has been passing through different regimes, with different characters. At least this one is of its kind as it spans from the State, the Parliament and the list goes down.

I should not say that they are completely useless as you pointed out, but rather they are and will be used as BAD examples for generations to come.

A miserable failure!!! It is very sad having to conclude that she is not a Woman of Substance!!! And it is women like her who set an unbecoming precedent, and all women get stereotyped just because of one woman's selfish motives and lack of integrity and honesty. What an utter disgrace!!! The sabotage acts perpetrated by her and her deputy "as directed and/or dictated" are only assisting in revealing their nakedness to the common Wananchi who are apparently much more enlightened than they used to be hitherto.
 
I am not sure if she will ever consider this call as a genuine one ,in her mind she is doing a right thing in her right way and at the right time so why bother ,very pity indeed : our concern is where are we heading as a nation,are we realy in acceptance of this failure of our time ,if we dont raise our voices against this nosense then we should be counting in our own betrayal to our nation interests

'Hakutakua na hoja binafsi katika kipindi hiki chote'......kind action she took. She needs to overturn this draconian decision that seems to undermine the principles she stands for or at least has been portrayed to stand for
 
If she was voted in by the MPs, can she also get booted out?
 
To be able to make a legacy one needs to have a "self-consciousness" that is strong and founded. we have very few people in Tanzania today of that nature among our Governors. All we have are mitigated individuals who depend not on their own will or intellect, but on the external forces be it of juju type or fake futurists in the name of "unajimu". We really need a change that will give hope to the hopeless citizens. This is not possible with the type of leadership we have. Change is indispensable for true Tanzanian human development. otherwise we will be singing "things development".
 
You have said it all - no comment my fellow freedom fighters but keep moving. The harder you press the more the pain you inflict, more pain means more damage and thus the more they are gradually loosing. We will never stop until when one day we stand out applauding "at last the victory is ours" THE VICTORY IS OURS, THE VICTORY IS OURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Mwanakijiji, It is unfortunate if you ever expected anything better from this Speaker. The greatest success for some of the King makers in TZ was to select this woman for this post. They knew having this woman there would mean that MP's will own the TV while they have the remote control.

Madam speaker had no ambition then, and still has none at the moment. She is only a ceremonial Speaker, she is only employed to be on that seat - and that is it. Waiting for her monthly salary! What a loss!
