Rise in transshipment traffic raises Mombasa East Africa gateway profile

Alaaa!!umekalia kuti kavu, haya rudi kw mada basi..kumbe wajua thread haiongelei documents alafu baada ya kukamatwa umeanza kujitia una uelewa
Topic is Mombasa port, its obvious dominance in EAC and my contention is that its was signed away by Corrupt jubilee.
Table the evidence contrary

Tell your employer Kenyatta to stop constipating on The release of the document, isnt kenya a democracy? why are court orders being disobeyed? what is being hidden? Kenyans are past the Moi era when you had to parrot the Gok position.
Table the evidence or forever hold your silence
I have given you the chinese government denying anything about your claims, same to GOK.
Now you produce evidence for your claims if you know more about the contract than GOK or the Chinese government.
Your claims have been debunked over and over and you still hold onto them, this is the acme of insanity. If you have none then don't comment on issues you do not know, clearly you have no clue how Kenya runs. You rely on rumors and village talk nothing of substance.

For a man who is blubbering alot about documents, you sure are making nothing but deranged claims based on hot air. Produce evidence to counter the GOK and Chinese Government who have both said and confirmed in front of the media that Mombasa port is not part of the sgr deal.

Also do note that your contention is out of topic and based on nothing more than misinformed media headlines, village talk and rumors.
As for dominance of Mombasa port in east and central africa, that is not disputed at this point I am just drumming it into your ears just incase you forget.
Also have respect Mombasa port is now closer to gaining on Durban i.e. It will be the largest port in sub saharan africa.Next time you talk of mombasa do not just claim eac, say east and central africa.
Have respect for those greater than you.

So we are supposed to believe the chinese Government propaganda? i am starting to see why africans & kenyans are now calling kenya a province in china

The document that clarifies everything is there in Mama ngina kenyatta's left bra pocket. Go get it and table it because it seems that even court orders are not enough.
I have told you the era of parroting "government position" is far gone..kenyans are only interested in facts & documents not GoK hot flatulence.
TABLE IT

It seems you can not provide evidence to contradict GOK and the chinese government. Now you are just being petty by insulting an old woman like Mama Ngina Kenyatta, it actually shows you are nothing more than a frustrated failure trying to look important.
Now go back to the topic and do not engage in matters beyond your comprehension, boy!

Why should anyone have sour grapes if mombasa becomes bigger & efficient? Dar is also picking up which is good for EAC, more options better service for businessmen. Dar has no insecurities, they are just doing their hustle and improving service, they have always played second fiddle to mombasa. There many things that make a businessman choze a port, and that also includes corruption which is prevalent in mombasa and zero in Dar..So like it some dont, the more the merrier

sorry I have no time to discuss an illegal project, or in the words of the court judgment "unconstitutional ab initio"

You remind me of JJ Kamotho. "Baba amesema..blah blah blah...jogoo! jogoo!"😀😀😀😀

Use Port Performance Indicators to evaluate how port is perform per year, why you use only figures of cargo handled per year.

Dar es salaam Port can perform the same, and now days many clients from landlocked countries they use this port.

Now in every week locomotives trains owned by South African Company, with Container carried Copper they use Dar Port for shipment.

If you start to use Port Performance Indicators to compare ports,I will come again.

Bring your statistics to the following, I know Tanzanians like to talk without any evidence. Also if you were conversant with comprehension you would realize than transhipment business needs a high throughput that is why Mombasa is winning. Now here are facts.
i) Mombasa port current capacity is 1.8 million teus i.e. We can handles
ii) Turn around time for ships (panamax and post panamax) reached a record time of 24 hours in 2019
iii) Average dwell time of cargo at the inland ports and at mombasa port is 0-4 days better than the african average of 20 days.
iv) Mombasa port reached a record throughput of 5 million metric tonnes monthly 2019 and in 2020 broke another record of 6 million metric tonnes monthly.
v) Mombasa port is the biggest and busiest port in East & Central Africa with an annual growth cargo throughput of about 10 %, and it is among the top 5 fastest-growing container ports in Africa.

Now bring your statistics!!

HINT: I will own you if you lie, I already know all the statistics on all Tanzanian ports.

You remind me of JJ Kamotho. "Baba amesema..blah blah blah...jogoo! jogoo!"😀😀😀😀
This is what is called puerile and juvenile behavior. You have no points or evidence for your claims.

From my point of view, I see a person who has little education and a kenyan wannabe filled with resentment about his life.

Just like how i caught you in your many lies before e.g. your claim that GDP fluctuates 100 times a day with the value of the currency to the dollar and now you can not produce any evidence to support your claims, so you turn to insulting old women, who by the way have done more in their life than you would ever do even if you were to live for 200 years.

May god have mercy on your soul.

GDP is calculated on the moving average of exchange rate to the dollar. So yes it will change at the date of calculation if the m.avg Is different from the date of calcultion in the previous accounting period.
GDP is not calculated daily..But if any gov has ability to do so, yes it will change with the daily moving average.
It seems you are very idle, pick an economics book & read

Good Mr, you are deep in Port Statistics. I wonder why Mombasa Port have 19 berth in container there are 6 berths, but Dar es Salaam Port have 11 berths and 4 are containers berths.

If you compare Mombasa Port in handling Container and Dar es Salaam Port you will see difference that Mombasa have 2 more berths in Container Vessel. The volume of containers handled with Mombasa there is normal difference to that handled with Dar Port.

The word "Mombasa is a busiest port" that is motivation from Kenyans media and people. If International Association of Ports and Harbours term Mombasa is busiest port it was be right and true.

Mombasa fail to utilize full resources of having more berths and container terminal s.

For the side of having record of good truck turn around and shift record performance I agree with you.
New shift record performance at the Port of Mombasa

Dar es Salaam Port instead it have few berths to compare with Mombasa port in recent day can beat performance of Mombasa Port for export and import cargo volume.

Go read what you have written and look at amount of cargo volume passing through mombasa then come back and talk like an adult.

Correction, Mombasa port now has 21 berths after recent expansion and container berth 22 and 4 more oil terminals are currently under construction. I know you do not understand business due to being a Tanzanian, but for a port to have extra capacity is better than having no capacity.

Dar port annual cargo volume is 14.9 million tonnes annually, while mombasa port annual cargo volume is 36 million tonnes and growing at 10% annually.

This year Dar port has only handled 4 million tonnes in the first quarter, while mombasa port has been doing 5-6 million tonnes monthly.

Projections by the world bank show logistics sector in Kenya will be worth a whopping $5 billion by 2024 and mombasa port is central to this projection i.e. Logistics sector in Kenya will be worth more than the logistics sector of all other eac countries combined.

Now go read then come back with actual facts not delusional wet dreams.
