If you loose a mom, you loose both. Its better you lose one, the baby, thus why we say two deaths are unnecesary when it comes in matter of saving life.

It was a United Nations declaration that No girl or woman should die of pregnancies too soon,too late or too many. But in our society unwanted pregnancies are setting our girls back and by far, legalizing it will make it safer more accessible and give young girls more choice and control over their own lives which is just basic if you ask me.

I managed to attend one seminar on illegal abortion organised by a certain law society (name withheld) one of the stakeholder was from health institution. They gave us data comparison on death rate and consequences of illegal abortion between countries where abortion has been legalized and where is not. In countries where abortion has been legalized death rates of the victims is lower than where has not been legalized, and according to that seminar, it is expensive to treat a patient who undergone illegal abortion when any complication occurs than conducting abortion in a health clinic with a doctor.
In that seminar they also showed some videos on people who suffered from illegal abortion either directly or by their relatives who died and left them behind.
From there I came out with the following suggestions:
- For those countries which insists abortion should be illegal, they must insist on education to society on other measures of protecting unwanted pregnancies e.g. contraceptives, and look into possible reasons why unwanted pregnancies and regulate their laws e.g. education law - should allow girls to return after delivery.
- Law enforcers should legalize abortion, but should work on how best the law should be implemented. E.g. those with genuine reasons (continuation of education, minor age, insane) etc.

Abortion is legal in some parts of the world. For example in America abortion was legalized since 1973 by The Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade.
Personally I would never get an abortion no matter what but i am not going to judge any woman who decides to have an abortion.
I think Tanzania can make abortion legal. Just so it can be performed safely in certified settings other than the way its done illegally now.
I hope women who get abortions dont come to that desicion lightly. Whatever reasons they have to seek an abortion it should be up to them and their God and probably their spriritual leaders....
Bottom line legal or illegal abortion is one of those subjects that are catch 22....

Ok, ndugu, lemme put it in simple terms:
99.99% of the women kill their unborn babies simply because they dont wish to have them, right? Of course this is sometimes done in collaboration with the responsible male. Now thinking in those terms it means a person is killing another person not because the victim has done anything wrong but because the killer WISHES SO!!!
Some justify students doing so to avoid being expelled from school
what about you find me (a boy) doing something the consequences of which will be expulsion from school if you report me? Do I have the right to kill u so I can continue with schooling?
Other women do it because they think its too early to be in a family way..derive it...they kill a person whose existence is a hindrance to their happiness
What is the difference between such killing and murdering a person for the simple and selfish reason that his existence makes you unhappy?
So when I said murdering in certified settings I did not mean legal punishment of hanging: I meant if we can arrange it for a woman to kill her unborn baby in "certified settings" why cant the same be granted for anyone who wishes to murder you?
Because the bottom line is abortion is murdering innocent babies for the selfish desires of the women who do it which is, to me at least, not different from me murdering you because we are competing for a gal, lets say!

It should not be legalized since we will be loosing more babies! You seem to be selfish. Why would you care the death of the mother but completely ignore the murder of the baby?

Abortion for my side must be legalized because it happened when a women get the pregnant without her will take example the issue of rape, a women can get pregnant because he was raped heath problems or complications disease and also the issue of Poverty's where by pregnancy women is Un able to care the child due to economic factors
