I see where you're coming from.

First off, gang affiliations don't necessarily go with weed smoking or any substance taking for that matter. A lot of OGs are sober as the Pope.

2nd, Tupac was more street than Snoop ever was. For one, he was raised by a fiend. Pac had it rougher than Snoop. Pac became his own man at a younger age compared to Snoop. Starting off as a dancer, doesn't take away his cred. And on that night they first met, Pac was going after Snoop's people in his freestyle, even tho Snoop was mob deep'd and Pac had less than 4 with him.

3rd, there ain't no proof that Snoop was ever gang affiliated. Yeah he's from LBC, but that don't make him a G. Actually, there've been talks of him paying for his affiliation acts.

I believe they met in '93. During the Poetic Justice's movie party.

Gangbangin' and slangin' go hand in hand. I can't imagine a gangbanger who's never rolled a blunt until he met some other rapper.

I just find it hard to believe. And I suspect most people would....

Another question....so they met after the release of Dre's The Chronic and Snoop's Doggystyle, right?

And yet by then he (Snoop) had never smoked? Things that make you go hmmm.....

Of course gangbangin' and slangin' go together most of the times. And you could slang, and never use it. And Tupac was no just another rapper, c'mon man.

The Chronic was out already, not so sure about the Doggystyle. If that's the reference you wanna go with, maybe you should understand that rap's none but showbiz most of the times. Big claimed to have slang'ed, while he never did. Cube was telling stories about po-pos brutality, but never suffered any personally.

Smoking weed is so common in America that even American presidents did it when they were young. It's even more prevalent among high school kids.

That's why I find it so hard to believe that someone who grew up in the hood, who was in and out of trouble with the law when growing up, who extolled the virtues of smoking joints in his music, whose upbringing was not the exemplar of virtue etc., that he was taught by Tupac how to do it.

Look, we have no way of proving or disproving it. But, we also have common sense and if you can count up to ten that means you can also put two and two together.

But, you also have the free will to take him at his word. So it's all good.

Yeah weed might be common in America, but that doesn't mean everybody who is or ever been there has had a puff and what not. Soccer is common in Brazil, but not everybody from there is interested in it. Stupidity is common among Tanzanians, but we sure do got a few who know nothing about it.

Snoop never had trouble with the law, 'til he became a rapper. He was a grounded kid, went to school and all. Snoop couldn't even keep eye contact with the camera or people, 'til he started smoking weed.

My understanding of the game is, nobody gang bang and never get shot, jailed, or end up killed. And Snoop's never been through any of that.

Yeah man, I'm taking his word on this one.

Drake will soon lose that American crowd he has. He went after Jay and Kanye not so long ago, they didn't trip. He started bragging how he run sh!t tho not being from around. As Charlamagne said, that's some corny stuff.

Back to back was dope, coz the sucker he went at deserved it. It's one of my favorites. But he should stick to his own game.
