Nazar Voloshyn told RBC-Ukraine media a decision was made on Saturday to appoint Brigadier General Mykhailo Drapatyi to the position.

Earlier, the Russian President announced a govenrment reshuffle, bringing in a new Defense Minister & fuelling rumors of incompetence of existing officials.
However, former Defense Minister Shoigu is taking over Patrushev's role, as Head of Russia's Security Council and Patrushev himself becoming a close adviser to the President.
