Russian Su-34 jet hits Ukrainian stronghold, infantry in Kursk Region with glide bombs

MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. A Russian Su-34 fighter jet has used air bomb swith the unified glide/adjustment module to hit a Ukrainian stronghold in the border area of the Kursk Region, the Defense Ministry said.

"The crew of the Russian Su-34 fighter jet carried out a strike on a Ukrainian stronghold and manpower in the border area of the Kursk Region. The strike was carried out by air bombs with the unified glide/adjustment module," the statement said.

The Russian armed forces have destroyed a Ukrainian reconnaissance group of eight people in the Kharkov region, which included a militant wearing a chevron with the US flag, a representative of the Russian security service told Sputnik.
"The Russian military destroyed a reconnaissance group of the Ukrainian army consisting of eight people in the Kharkov region. One of the scouts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed in the battle was wearing a chevron with the image of the US flag," the representative said.

Over the past day, Russian forces struck a military airfield, drone warehouses and concentrations of Ukrainian troops in 138 areas, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD). Air defense systems also shot down five HIMARS rockets, two Neptune missiles and 36 drones.
Units of the Russian Tsentr Battlegroup have liberated the settlement of Mikhailovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Russian MoD has announced.
"Through decisive actions, the Tsentr Battlegroup liberated the settlement of Mikhailovka in the Donetsk People's Republic," the statement said.
The Battlegroup also “repelled 11 counterattacks by the 42nd, 100th, 157th mechanized brigades, the 5th assault brigade, the 79th airborne assault regiment, the 49th and 425th assault battalions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 38th marine brigade," the MoD said.
"The enemy lost up to 460 personnel, three armored vehicles — HMMWV from the US and Kirpi from Turkey — five vehicles, four 122mm D-30 howitzers. and a 100mm Rapira anti-tank gun," the statement added.
According to the ministry, the group’s forces hit personnel and equipment of the 24th, 28th, 100th and 157th mechanized brigades, the 68th infantry brigade, the 59th motorized infantry brigade and the 25th airborne brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Shcherbinovka, Ivanopolye, Selidovo, Lysovka, Tarasovka, Nikolayevka, Dimitrov, Tsukurino and Dzerzhinsk in the Donetsk People's Republic.

In his new documentary tentatively called "In the Name of Justice," the actor admitted that the day after Russia kicked off the special military operation in Ukraine, he wrote a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin and made sure that it would reach the Russian leader.

In the letter, Seagal noted that it would now be clear "who our true compatriots are, who our friends are, and who our enemies are.”

"I will be on the side of my president and I will fight on the side of my president," Steven Seagal said.

Seagal said that he would be ready to die for his president, if need be. Russia will win over Ukraine, because "our main strength is that we are right," he believes.

"Of course, we have best soldiers, weapons, military leaders. Ultimately, our main strength is that we are right,” Seagal said.

US actor Steven Seagal visited captured Azov* fighters in the Donetsk People's Republic.

The video shows the actor communicating with prisoners in the colony in the settlement of Elenovka near Donetsk.

One can see that the militants recognized Seagal and shared impressions of their life in the colony.

One of the Azov* members said:

"They treat us well, quite well. There is nothing to complain about. I think the conditions are acceptable."

The footage will be used in Seagal's documentary about the events in Donbass. Announcing the project, the actor said that the world does not know the truth.

"Ninety-eight percent of those who talk about the conflict in the media have never been here. Therefore, the world does not know the truth. I want to change the view of this war. This is not an easy task," Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR said about the film.
