Russian forces wipe out Ukrainian troops at Chasov Yar plant

DONETSK, December 5. /TASS/. A group of Ukrainian troops has been wiped out at a refractory plant in the city of Chasov Yar, a Russian security official told TASS.

"A large group of enemy troops was eliminated on the northeastern outskirts of the plant area. A mop-up operation is now underway," he said.

According to the official, enemy troops are defecting in large numbers in this section of the frontline.

"Will we create special conditions for those who want to return? No, we will not create any special conditions, we have not squeezed anyone, we have not banned anyone. Our doors are open," he said.

Putin himself said that Ukraine’s use of ATACMS and Storm Shadow would not have any impact on the battlefield.
