Russian Telegram channels report a massive drone attack on Russian cities last night; Bryansk, Ryazan, Rostov regions and Moscow were under attack.

▪️ In Russia's Ryazan region, a fire broke out at the Rosneft oil refinery and the Novo-Ryazanskaya CHPP.

▪️ In Bryansk, the Kremniy plant, which produces microelectronics for missile systems, for Pantsyr and Iskander missiles, as well as for radar and electronic warfare systems and Russian drones, was attacked again.

▪️ Airports in Moscow region, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Penza, Saratov, Ufa, and Samara have been shut down due to the threat of drones.

▪️ It is reported that more than 100 drones attacked 14 regions of Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry reported shooting down 121 drones, most of them over the territory of Bryansk region – 37 drones. The results of their successful work are listed above.

The tank was hit with a kamikaze drone in Russia’s Kursk border region, according to the report.

The Russian military has found the chained bodies of Ukrainian troops after taking over the fortified positions of Kiev’s forces, according to a Telegram channel linked to Russia’s North military group.

The Russian soldiers were “shocked” by their discovery in one of the rooms inside a stronghold in Kharkov Region, the Severny Veter (Northern Wind) channel reported on Friday.

It published a graphic video showing at least two corpses in Ukrainian military uniforms with long rusty chains attached to their legs.

The Ukrainian troops “were simply abandoned without food and water. One of them had tried to escape, but could not break free from the chains,” the channel said.

It is up to the Russian investigative bodies to establish what exactly happened to the soldiers, but it is “already clear that they died in terrible agony, with traces of torture being clearly visible on their bodies,” Severny Veter stressed.

The channel claimed that the incident, which is likely not an isolated one, “not only proves that the Ukrainian military leadership are neo-Nazi criminals and terrorists… but also reveals the general level of motivation within the Ukrainian military.”

Severny Veter claimed that too many Ukrainian soldiers are refusing to fight and, because of this, their commanders are “staging demonstrative executions to persuade the troops to engage in another ‘meat assault’.”
 
Russia shoots down more than 120 Ukrainian drones – MOD

The UAVs were intercepted above 14 of the country’s regions, Moscow’s Defense Ministry has said

Russian air defenses have destroyed 124 enemy drones over the country overnight, the Defense Ministry in Moscow said on Friday.

The large-scale attack by Kiev targeted at least 14 of Russia’s regions, the ministry said in a statement.

Bryansk Region appears to have been targeted the most, with a total of 37 UAVs shot down there, the statement read.

Another 20 drones were intercepted above the territory of Ryazan region, 17 above Kursk Region and 17 above Saratov Region, it said.

Six UAVs were destroyed over Moscow Region and one more over the Russian capital, the ministry stressed.

Air defenses were activated in Rostov, Belgorod, Voronezh, Tula, Orel, Lipetsk and Leningrad regions as well as in Crimea, it added.

Bryansk Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz wrote on Telegram on Friday that “the enemy made another attempt to carry out a massive attack on the territory of our region overnight.” There have been no casualties as a result of the raid, the governor said.

Russian forces wipe out Ukraine’s heavy equipment near Orekhov — official
MELITOPOL, January 24. /TASS/. The Russian army has destroyed several pieces of heavy equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces and several dozen enemy troops, thwarting their redeployment to the frontline near Orekhov in the Zaporozhye Region, Russian Civic Chamber member Vladimir Rogov said.

"[We] used our aircraft, artillery and multiple rocket launchers against Ukrainian ground troops on the move to the Orekhov area, with plans to go to Kamenskoye and Malaya Tokmachka later. Several pieces of heavy equipment and several dozen militants were eliminated," he said.

The official also noted that thanks to reconnaissance capabilities, Russian units in the Orekhov direction are able to detect the movement of enemy equipment practically in real time.

Ka-52M crew foils Ukrainian army’s rotation in Kursk Region

MOSCOW, January 25. /TASS/. A Ka-52M helicopter has attacked troops and equipment of the Ukrainian army with air missiles, having foiled the rotation of the enemy’s forces in the Kursk Region's border area, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"An army aviation crew flying a Ka-52M helicopter and operating as part of a mixed tactical group foiled the rotation of the Ukrainian army’s units in the Kursk Region’s border area," the report said.

In fulfilling their combat mission of ground support the army aviation pilots launched missiles using the coordinates transmitted by an air controller and destroyed the Ukrainian army’s stronghold and personnel, the ministry said.

After the strike, the crew performed a missile evasion maneuver at an ultralow altitude by firing decoy flares to evade hits by enemy surface-to-air missiles. "A forward air observer confirmed the destruction of the target," the ministry noted.
