South Korea is considering to send military personnel to Ukraine.

According to a new report, Seoul would send soldiers, including intelligence officers, that could help interrogate captured North Korean soldiers as well as help Ukraine understand NK tactics
 
In exchange for sending soldiers, North Korea is receiving money and nuclear technology from Russia.

According to the head of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, North Korea has already dispatched at least 500 officers and three generals to Russia. By the end of October, North Korea plans to send an additional 2,600 troops to Russia’s Kursk region.

Unlike Russian troops, North Korean soldiers are highly motivated, driven by a rigid ideology, and aware that their families back home could face severe consequences if they fail to comply. This makes them effective at addressing “certain problems” for the Russians, and, as Budanov noted, their involvement raises significant concerns.

However, North Korean troops have not yet encountered the realities of modern warfare, where tactical strike drones play a dominant role. It will take them several weeks to adapt to these condi

Türkiye secretly banned the export of military goods to Russia after a warning from the U.S., reports the Financial Times.

According to three informed sources, Türkiye recently imposed a ban on over 40 categories of American-origin goods, including microchips, remote control systems, and other items listed as "high priority" by the U.S., UK, EU, and Japan. The list comprises advanced electronics, processors, memory cards, machinery, and other equipment used in weapons production.

The ban is now enforced through Türkiye's customs system, which blocks these exports to Russia, a departure from previous practices. Türkiye had already restricted the export of similar goods from the EU, a ban that remains in place.

"We believe the Turkish government has acknowledged our concerns. We are optimistic about enhanced cooperation moving forward," said U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce Matthew Axelrod.

MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. A Russian Su-34 frontline bomber destroyed a Ukrainian stronghold in a border area of the Kursk Region, using air bombs, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The Su-34 multirole supersonic frontline bomber of the Aerospace Forces struck the Ukrainian stronghold and its personnel in a border area of the Kursk Region. Upon receiving confirmation from reconnaissance that the Ukrainian army’s personnel and stronghold had been destroyed, the crew safely returned to its airfield," the ministry said in a statement.

MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. Russian Guardsmen destroyed a US-made Stryker armored personnel carrier of the Ukrainian army by a drone in the borderline Kursk area, the National Guard’s press office reported on Wednesday.

"The National Guard’s fighters destroyed a US-made Stryker armored personnel carrier by a drone in the Kursk Region," the press office said in a statement.

The Stryker armored personnel carrier is a light armored wheeled fighting vehicle designed to delivery infantry to the battlefield, support troops by fire and accomplish combat and special support objectives, it explained.

"The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past day totaled over 280 fighters. Thirteen units of military hardware were destroyed, including three infantry fighting vehicles, one of them a US-made Bradley, and seven armored vehicles, as well as three artillery weapons, six cars and an electronic warfare station. Three Ukrainian soldiers surrendered," the ministry said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russia's Battlegroup Yug eliminated up to 800 Ukrainian servicepeople over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"The enemy's losses amounted to over 800 soldiers, an armored personnel carrier, 10 vehicles, two Polish-made 155-mm Krab self-propelled artillery units ...," the ministry said.
Russia’s Battlegroup Zapad repelled six counterattacks, and Kiev has lost over 510 soldiers, the ministry said.
The Russian military took control of the Serebryanka and Nikolaevka settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the ministry added.
