Trouble is you think the Tzshs has only been weaker, compared to KES during the Magufuli administration. I once used to exchange the Kenyan shilling for 9,10,11 Tzshs. Its always been a straight fall for the Tanzanian currency.There is no way a country like Tz Which has higher GNI and GDP PPP Than kenya can have a lower currency. Their exports are also higher than kenya, FDI also higher, and their import bill is going lower due to substitution of petroleum imports with gas.
Magufuli is manupulating Tz currency, hiding the true wealth of Tanzania, he wants to have favourable financing from WB which gives cheap loans to "poor" countries
