    18' Villa is offside from what I can pick up. Sergio Ramos is not happy about the delay in coming to that decision as he pushes his Spain team-mate.
  • 17' Mourinho looking a bit deflated about that. His defence got caught too square, but what can you do when Messi is dropping through passes with that pace on them. Barca now lead 3-2 on aggregate.
  • 16' Real had made the brighter start, but Barca have the lead. That is life at this level. Very harsh on Real, but what a move that is. Mouthwatering stuff.

    15' GOAL!! Iniesta scores for Barca!! Magnificent pass by Messi to pick out Iniesta and the World Cup races through to chip the ball over Casillas. Superb stuff.
  • 14' Villa goes wide to collect before Xavi feeds Pedro. Great tracking back by Ronaldo to deny Alves space. That is already looking like a key dust-up in this encounter.

    13' Pedro throws over an excellent cross. Messi went for it, but Casillas does enough to thump the ball out of the area. Better from Barca.
  • 12' Fantastic cross from Ronaldo into the area, but nobody on hand in the Barca box. Real have made the sharper start to this match. They are pressing so high up the pitch.
  • 11'Smart play by Abidal under pressure from Ozil before Valdes does the necessary by clearing from his box. On we go then with Ronaldo on the ball.
  • 10' Real now trying to get their passing game going. Despite the pitch being the size of a polo field, there is very little space for players to move. Both teams working incredibly hard.
  • 9' Busquets presses Benzema hard, and the French striker takes his eye off the ball. Goalkick to Barca, but Valdes is forced to knock the ball out seconds later.
  • 8'Sergio Ramos picks the pocket of Villa. All the players flying into tackles to win possession. Possession is ninth tenths of the law and neither side have gained the upper hand yet.

    45' The referee calls time on the half. Barca lead 2-1. An exceptional half of football. Real have been as good as Barca, but they don't have Messi. He has been the difference as the home side head up the tunnel to the applause of a teeming Camp Nou.
  • 44' Not going to be much time added to this half. I think everybody could do with a tea break.
  • 43' Superb play by Pique to backheel the ball for Messi to race through and score. The home fans in party mood. Mourinho looking a bit dazed. His side have done little wrong.

    42' GOAL!! Messi for Barca!! What a finish, what a move and the home side are back in front at 2-1. That was another special moment as Casillas is beaten again by the chipped effort over him.
  • 41' Pedro goes back to Xavi before Pique feeds Villa. Sergio Ramos is back to make the block on Ramos as we head for the break.
  • 40' Looked like Ramos actually got a touch to Benzema's cross, but Ronaldo probably got the final touch. Anyway, no matter...we are level at 1-1 on the night, and 3-3 on aggregate.

    39' Xavi picks up a booking for a late on Coentrao. No complaints there from the Barca skipper.
  • 38' Bezema feeds Ronaldo, but Mascherano is there to make the tackle. Fine play by the former Liverpool man.
  • 37' Iniesta and Khedira tussle in the centre of the park, but Barca get the decision. Coentrao out quickly to make a timely tackle on Villa.
  • 36' Pique joins the party as Barca try to restore their lead, but Pepe makes a wonderful tackle on Iniesta. Had to get that spot on otherwise it would have been a penalty.

    35' Messi on the move for Barca! He races through like Usain Bolt, but Casillas stays on his feet long enough to make the block. The little magician's legs were pumping like pistons there. Superb play from him.
  • 34' Mourinho seems to have got his tactics spot on, but Alves shows what he is made of as he races back to make the perfect tackle on Ronaldo. Chance for Barca to break.
  • 33' Ronaldo unhappy that a throw-in goes against him. The Barca fans give him a bit of stick, and on we go. Barca trying to settle into their passing game.
  • 32' The crowd are loving this. And little wonder. Messi tries to play in Xavi, but just overcooks the pass as Casillas races out to collect. Breathtaking play from Messi.
  • 31' Ronaldo drives right at Alves, but the wing back does enough to make the tackle. Alves not been seen much in an attacking sense.
  • 30' Coentrao catches Pedro seconds later, but nothing doing. The referee lacking a bit of consistency after booking Khedira.
  • 29' Iniesta goes in late on Di Maria. A late one on the Real midfielder, but no booking. Should have been a booking.
  • 28' Pique heads out of his box seconds later before Benzema screws shot wide of the target. Breathless stuff as the chances and attacks continue to come.
  • 27' Another sublime move by Real Madrid ends with Valdes nudging Ozil's shot past his left hand post. Real continue to search for a second goal.
  • 26' Pedro almost onto the end of a loose ball, but Casillas was out of his goal like a greyhound to pick up.

    25' This match is there to be won, but we are going to have our first booking of the night as Khedira clatters Busquets late.

    24' What a stunning shot by Ronaldo! Valdes never knew much about that from outside the box, but he does enough to claw it onto the bar and out. Stunning shot. Deserved a goal.
  • 23' Benzema drags a shot into the sidenetting. This game raging from end to end as Real go again at the hosts.
  • 22' It was Benzema and not Pepe that put the ball into the box for Ronaldo's goal. My apologies for that one. All happened so fast. This is frantic stuff.

Madrid walishindwa kutumia first leg ambayo waliwakamata Barca wakakosa magoli,na ukichukulia Xavi,Pique na Busquet walikuwa majeruhi

Mourinho anatumia mfumo ambao Paraguay(WC 2010 quarter final) waliutumia: Pressing Spain(7 Barca players) in their own first third so eventually will succumb to long kick hence sacrificing the possession.
