The school of Humanities offers the following undergraduate degree programmes leading to attainment of Bachelor degree:

6. Bachelor of Arts in Literature

8. Bachelor of Arts in Arabic

11. Bachelor of Arts in Russian
12. Bachelor of Arts in History
13. Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Heritage and Tourism

Programme Specification
The main aim of the programme is to provide aspirants with opportunities to become diversified in terms of skills and knowledge so as to expand their employability chances on the global labour market. In this respect, the programme prepares high-quality teachers for secondary schools and opens-up space for diversification in skills and knowledge. Courses to be taken by BA(ED) students from teaching subjects will be decided in collaboration between the respective departments in the School of Humanities. But we expect students to select two teaching subjects (Major and Minor) from among the following: Kiswahili Linguistics, Kiswahili Literature, English, Arabic, Fine Arts and Design, Theatre and Film, Arabic, Literature in English, French, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, History, Economics, Accounting, Geography, Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
